Gorgeous jungle villa with fantastic ocean views!

Pelican Bay is a beautiful property, located atop a hill overlooking the Pacific ocean, nestled within the jungle. There are two homes within the property. We stayed in the main one, which has a direct view to the ocean. The second house is set farther back, and even though it has two full rooms with bathrooms, they are not contiguous (you have to access one of the rooms from the outside). The main house is well appointed with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and two similar sized rooms + bathrooms. Each bedroom also has an expansive view of the jungle and the Pacific ocean. There is also a patio and table in front of the main house where you can dine and enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the ocean.
The best parts of the property are the upper patio and the surrounding jungle and wildlife. The patio has a beautiful infinity pool with amazing vistas, a large grill, outdoor showers, and gardens. There are also several short trails around the property to explore the flora and fauna. We were lucky to see howler monkeys, a three-toed sloth, dart frogs, macaws, pelicans, lizards and iguanas right on the property.

Things to note:
-A 4x4 vehicle is needed to access the property via dirt road
-The nearest grocery store is in Dominical, however, a more complete one is in Uvita
-Downtown Dominical has good restaurants including Maracutu, Tortilla Flats and Chappy's. It is a 15 minute drive to town.
I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends. It would also be an ideal location for a retreat, wedding party or family reunion. The upper patio would be perfect for a dinner party and entertaining guests. It is very clean and well-maintained with a property manager on site. The description and pictures of the property on HomeAway are 100% accurate. We would love to return!
