We had a great stay in Deborah's unit in The Pinnacle Canyon Condominiums. The unit is clean and well-furnished, the beds are comfortably firm, and there is plenty of water pressure. Wireless internet and cable TV both work well. Deborah answered all our questions promptly and was very professional to deal with. We loved the pool area; it has beautiful landscaping and super comfortable lounge chairs. There are shade trees as well as palm trees, a large lighted gazebo with a ceiling fan, a huge outdoor fireplace with couches and easy chairs, and two barbeque pits. The pool itself has fountains along one side and the hot tub was nice and warm. (This complex appears to have more verdant landscaping than others we saw. In fact, from the satellite view of Google Maps, it's the only green area for miles around.) You have to enter the complex through the gate on Sunrise Drive, but you can exit through the gate on Territory Drive to easily reach the shopping area next door. There is a Basha's (similar to Safeway), Subway, Papa John’s Pizza, and six or seven sit-down restaurants. Highlights of our trip include: the tram ride up the Sabino Canyon Trail, view of the sunset from Gates Pass in Tucson Mountain Park, the Flaundrau Planetarium and Mineral Museum, and Tohono Chul Park. The mountains are absolutely gorgeous and we spent a lot of time driving around the foothills.
