Centrally located in Wallingford, this free-standing home (no shared walls) is 7 blocks to lively 45th street in Wallingford with a range of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and eclectic shopping. First of many coffee shops is 3 blocks away. Famous Gas Works Park, Lake Union (seaplanes and paddle boats), Burke Gilman Trai (run, bike, blade)l, Fremont (The Troll and Center of the Universe) are all an easy walk.

Green lake is 10 blocks (jog the 3 mile loop or paddle in the lake). 2 miles to Husky Stadium. The following neighborhoods are closer than 10 minutes - Ballard, Fremont, Greenlake, Belltown, Pike's Place Market, Pioneer Square, Queen Anne, Capitol Hill and Montlake. 2 minutes to 99. 5 minutes to I5. Easy access to buses and public transportation.

We have a preference for longer stays (4 nights during winter / spring) and a week or longer May - October. Though, if there are gaps in the calendar between bookings, we will do shorter stays. We do not do 2-3 days over weekends.

It's hard to describe how much we loved staying at this cool modern home. We walked all overWallingford, Fremont, and Ballard,. We never needed to take a cab. And, it was always a great

It's clear the home is near new and that the owner takes pride in the quality of the listing. Lots of new & near new items, including bedding, kitchenware, and towels.

If you need to sleep 6 in beds, and 2 on air mattress, this is the perfect spot for your vacation!

Great view, great neighborhod, great stay

Five adults spent five nights at Carr Place and had a great time. The Wallingford area is very walkable, including the University area a bit further east.

We enjoyed the house: nice rooms, nice appointments, very green, excellent ktichen - we fed 12 one night. The view from the deck is outstanding - and impressed long-time Seattle resident friends and family. The books we found there were also very interesting.

We will definitely come back.

The house was perfect for our group of 6 adults although it could sleep more. The home is modern and very comfortable, with anything you could need or wish for. The view from the roof deck is unbelievable In fact this would make a great place to view the New Years or 4th of July fireworks. The location is great. You can walk to Fremont or the University district. I highly recommend staying here and would book it the next time my large family comes to town.

great modern house

we were looking for a nice house in seattle for two families for just one night which is a tough find. Seth was very accommodating and the house was perfect in every way: location, new, clean, great modern aesthetic. as an interior designer i spend a lot of energy trying to find nice vacation rentals and really lucked out with this one. we had little kids but the three levels were fine. i wish we were able to stay longer and hope to return. i would highly recommend this to anyone who appreciates a comfortable stay.
