House, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 11-15)

This lovely beach home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a pool (8ft x 4ft and 4ft deep) on the deck. It is located on a canal and offers a great gulf and sound views from the lower and rooftop decks.

Dock your boat or water craft at the private dock in front of the house .

The beach is within walkDing distance (block and a half).

Relax on the deck or in the pool as you watch the sun set on the beach.

The deck has table chairs, and a gas grill for cooking outside.

The master bedroom has flat screen TV with a queen bed and all the bedrooms have a TV.

One bedroom has 2 bunk beds that include the top bunk being a twin bed and the bottom bed a double bed.

The third bedroom has a queen bed and twin bed in it.

Some of the ATTRACTIONS on the island are Audubon Bird Sanctuary, Dauphin Island Public Beach, East End Park, Estuarium at Dauphin Island Sea Lab, Historic Fort Gaines, Isle Dauphine Golf Club and Mobile Bay Ferry.

There are several fishing charters and marinas to make the visit at Dauphin Island full of adventure in the Gulf of Mexico.

One day could take the family on a trip on the Mobile Bay Ferry to Fort Morgan then to Foley, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach for shopping at the outlet mall or the beach.

Dauphin Island is a laid-back, non-commercialized vacation destination with a grocery, bakery and several restaurants serving pizza, ice cream and burgers to great seafood and steaks. Water park fun is accessable by auto ferry (makes a great day trip). Attractions on the island include the Estauarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab, Ft Morgan, several Bird Watching and wildlife sites. Fish on the beach or fishing pier, charter a boat for site seeing or deep sea fishing.; or just come to Relax.

Roomy and Well Stocked

We arrived later than expected but having everything ready helped us settle in! The directions and descriptions were clear so we did not have to fumble around in the dark. The place was great for our Bird Contest week. There was room for our bulletin board and lots of space to upload our photos readying them for the judges. The house had many kitchen items we could use, helping us have ease in cooking and preparing our meals. The BBQ and pool were a bonus. The weather could have been better but it did not stop us from taking many bird photos. Despite the cold, we were warm in the house. I would recommend the property to anyone...as long as you can climb stairs!

Relaxing retreat

I would highly recommend this house for a family vacation. It is beautfully maintained and there is plenty of space inside and out so we never felt crowded (six people). Easy walk to nice beach and fishing, or fish from the house pier. Watch the sunrise, sunset and stars from either deck. Everything else you need is within a short drive - plenty to do for the kids on the island. Owners are very nice and helpful. The private pool is a unique feature.

very nice house, great view of the ocean. could see dolphins from porch every morning. plenty of room for the entire family. great with biking trails all around the island. nice and quiet for beach walks. pool was smaller than expected but still very nice to have.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
