The 2 bedrooms on the main floor also have large dressers to accommodate additional clothing storage.

Great Stay! As advertised.

  • 4 of 5
The place was wonderful and the views of the Anaconda Range were spectacular. The pellet stoves worked great and the place was very clean. The house manager made sure we were very comfortable and had everything we needed. I live in Butte and had friends from Colorado and Helena join for a ski weekend. Such a great time we hope to make it an annual event. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

What a beautiful home the furnishings were all so comfy the kitchen was so much fun to cook in, especially the Jen air stove had a bit of a time figuring out the oven, The in floor heat was awesome as well as the two pellet stove kept us all warm and toasty. We set up our bar in the kitchen down stairs that was great. the football fans enjoyed the TV downstairs with the satellite. The views were spectacular there was a gray owl perched outside that we were able to get some great pictures of Thank you

Bang for the Buck!

  • 5 of 5
We really enjoyed our stay, the house was beautiful, beautifully kept, and closer to the water than we even expected ... and there's a dock in the common lakeshore area which was an added bonus. The wrap-around, spacious deck provided unmatched views of the lake and mountains.

This house sleeps 10 VERY comfortably. The four bedrooms were spacious and comfortable ... plus there's a futon type bed in the loft than can handle a couple kids. We found the kitchens both on the main floor and downstairs to be equipped with everything we needed. Plus, we were able to put the kids on a huge, plush sectional in the basement to watch movies at night ... the satellite dish TV was another added bonus that we really didn't expect.

We can't wait to get back and hope to plan a Winter ski weekend at the lake while enjoying Discovery Ski Basin. We'll definitely try to rent this house the next time we need a comfortable, relaxing getaway!!!

We have coined the term “Pintler View Log Cabin” for this property. The Cabin name fits as it is made from authentic Lodge Pole Pine logs and is situated on Rainbow Point with spectacular views of Georgetown Lake and the rugged Pintler Mountains and Wilderness Area. Georgetown Lake is located approximately 20 miles West of Anaconda, MT and 15 miles Southeast of Philipsburg, MT.

Air Travel to and from this area can be made through two optional airports: (1) Bert Mooney Airport – Butte, MT (located approximately 45 miles from the cabin; approximate travel time is 1 hour), and (2) Missoula International Airport (located approximately 95 miles from the cabin; approximate travel time is 1 hour, 40 min.). There is no shuttle service available from either of these airports.

When driving to the area and Cabin, the access roads are maintained by the local county agency and will accommodate a common passenger car. However, at times, winter conditions may warrant good snow tires or a 4-wheel drive vehicle.

Both towns of Philipsburg and Anaconda offer full service amenities - Emergency Medical Services, Groceries, Gasoline, and Housekeeping Services. In addition, there are a variety of family oriented activities to chose from; to name a few: Golfing at Old Works (Anaconda’s Jack Nicklaus signature Golf Course), Skiing at Discovery Ski Area, Hiking, Snowmobiling, Touring Ghost Towns, and visiting Montana’s oldest continually operating Opera House Theatre located in Philipsburg. These are only a small select few activities that this area of Montana offers.
