Costa Blanca: There are attractions to suite all tastes within a short drive from Parques Casablanca. Whether you are looking for family fun at theme parks, relaxing on beaches, golfing on championship courses or an active water sports, scuba diving and sailing holiday you do not have to go far to accommodate your every need. Also, there are hundreds local restaurants and bars offering every gastronomic delight imaginable. Terra Mitica Theme Park - situated on the outskirts of Benidorm is Spain's largest theme park with its rides, shows, restaurants and shops, exhilarating entertainment for all ages. Golf - San Jaime Golf, Moravit 15 mins drive away. Javea 9 hole golf course is 35 mins drive away. La Sella 18 hole championship course is 30 mins drive away. Markets - Monday - Denia. Festivals: This region of Spain is famous for its colourful festivals and fiestas. One of the biggest is The Moors and Christians Fiesta in 2nd week in June. In Moraira on the 1st Monday after Easter is San Vicente Ferrer Fiesta and on 23rd June is Noche de St. Juan (Night of the Saint John).
Climate: The Costa Blanca is Spain’s most popular holiday destination because of its many amenities and attractions, but also because of Costa Blanca weather. The area enjoys a subtropical Mediterranean climate with mild temperatures all year and one of the driest climates in Spain with low humidity. With 2,800 hours of sunshine, Costa Blanca averages an astounding 325 days of sunny weather and its perfect for a holiday any time of year. The summer days are around 30ºC and the nights are a comfortable 20ºC with 11 hours of glorious daylight. The warm temperatures and long sunny days allow for uninterrupted sunbathing and watersports during the summer months. The winter temperatures are mild averaging 19ºC during the day and 8ºC at night. Activities such as golf, sightseeing and cycling can be enjoyed all year because of Costa Blanca’s fair climate. The sea temperature clocks in at a refreshing 23ºC from late June into September making the sea perfect for snorkelling, diving and swimming.
