Festivals:
This region of Spain is famous for its colourful festivals and fiestas. One of the biggest is The Moors and Christians Fiesta in 2nd week in June. In Moraira on the 1st Monday after Easter is San Vicente Ferrer Fiesta and on 23rd June is Noche de St. Juan (Night of the Saint John).
Climate:

The summer days are around 30ºC and the nights are a comfortable 20ºC with 11 hours of glorious daylight. The warm temperatures and long sunny days allow for uninterrupted sunbathing and watersports during the summer months. The winter temperatures are mild averaging 19ºC during the day and 8ºC at night. Activities such as golf, sightseeing and cycling can be enjoyed all year because of Costa Blanca’s fair climate. The sea temperature clocks in at a refreshing 23ºC from late June into September making the sea perfect for snorkelling, diving and swimming.
