The cottage is adorable, very clean and well appointed. The 25 steps to the beach was perfect access to beautiful Lake Michigan - we were at the beach every day playing horseshoes, reading, swimming, making sand castles and beach walking. We all golf and there are several courses in the area to choose from. Our favorites were the Ravines and Clearbrook. After a busy day and watching and photographing a beautiful sunset, the hot tub was thoroughly enjoyed in the evening. The shopping and dining in Saugatuck was always enjoyable although we spent most evenings barbequeing and enjoying the sound of the waves. We were all sad to see the vacation end. We would visit this cottage yearly except that it is too small for our growing family. We had six adults and a 1 yr old with more grandchildren expected this year. This cottage has only 2 bedrooms and one bath. The second bedroom is set up with bunk/trundle beds which is great for children but not for adults. We sadly had to rent a larger house for this summer and are not looking forward to the 90 steps to the beach! It was our hope that the owners of this cottage would add a second level!
