Ontario Can 2013

We stayed for 2 months. Location is great, you can walk to a beautiful park (across the road) and to numerous restaurants, pubs, stores, library, bank etc. within a couple of blocks. There are golf courses, box stores and malls within 10-15 mins. We would not recommend it for a long term stay and for people with allergies. The decor is very 70s and dark. There is very little natural sunlight and no green space. The landlady is very responsive to problems and getting them repaired. We found the bathrooms needing an upgrade and repair.

Owner's Response: Dear Resident,
When you speak of the 70's decor I think you are actually referring to the famous architechural style "Sarasota School of Architecture". We are happy to be proud owners of one of architect Gene Leedy's residences and, as he is a bit of a local rock star, most people who own one of his properties do all they can to retain his original design esthetic (which was created in the 70's). As for the "decor" you can see from the photos that it is actually quite modern. Another part of that design element is to bring the outdoors indoor. Therefore, our green spaces are in the form of 2 enclosed patios instead of front and back yards. They are attached directly to the living room and dining rooms. This feature allows one to sit outside for cocktails or to grill and yet still be "inside" the home. Then, as you mentioned, when you truly want to be out-of-doors the main city park with it's sculpture garden is literally out the front door.
Yes, the condo is comfortably carpeted so if one has severe allergies this may not be the best alternative when hardwood floors or tile may be the better option.
We thank you for your kind words and valuable input.
