Driftaway is a beautiful, tastefully furnished vacation home located at the end of Eastern Shores, a prestigious community on a mile-long point of land which runs east from Marsh Harbour, into the beautiful Sea of Abaco.
Driftaway is secluded and surrounded by clear turquoise water with views of numerous islands and yet is very handy to the amenities of town (approximately 2 miles). The property runs sea-to-sea with the Sea of Abaco on the north side. Driftaway also has its own protected deep-water 50 foot dock on the south side facing Sugar Loaf Channel.
The house is nestled within a tropical garden of colourful hibiscus, wild orchids, bromeliads, palms trees and winding stone paths.
Driftaway has two spacious master bedrooms (one with king size bed, one with queen), each with their own ensuite bathroom. Both bedrooms have large size closets/ceiling fans and a view of the Sea of Abaco. The bedrooms are separated by the large open airy great room which is equipped with a flat screen HDTV, stereo, CD and DVD.
The high vaulted ceilings and the orientation of the house to the cool gentle ocean breeze creates natural flow-through cooling. Every room is equipped with ceiling fans, including the 44 foot screened-in front porch and the sun porch off of the dining room. Three sets of double French doors open to beautiful views on three sides.
The kitchen is fully furnished, along with ice-maker, coffee grinder, microwave, blender and toaster oven. The dining room area has available seating for six.
Sun yourself on the large south facing deck furnished with lounges, patio table/chairs and a gas BBQ. There is also a pergola at one end when shade is needed. Two large pass- through windows from the kitchen serve the deck.
Relax on the muskoka chairs on the covered 44' front deck while enjoying the view of the Sea of Abaco.
You have a private sandy waterfront sitting area directly on the north side of the property. You can swim or snorkle by simply walking down six steps into the warm turquoise waters of the Sea of Abaco. You also have the availability of snorkeling at several locations within very short distances by boat or by car. Fowl Cay just south of Man-O-War and Mermaid Reef are two of many reef areas for your enjoyment.
Marsh Harbour has many restaurants to choose from (2-3 miles approximately from Driftaway) that you can get to by rental car or by taxi. You can also rent a boat to visit the local islands for lunch or exploring. Hope Town, Guana and Man of War are a few of the many small islands that can be reached by your own rental boat or by ferry which is conveniently located two minutes away from the house by car or a ten-fifteen minute walk. Enjoy lunch at Nipper’s on Guana and enjoy their beautiful beach and excellent snorkelling.

Reservations:
To reserve Driftaway, confirmation will be received upon receipt of a 50% deposit, with the balance due 60 days before arrival date.
Reservations are by the week, or longer.
Our rental period begins at 3:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon and ends at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning.
Refunds & Cancellation policy:
If cancelled 60 days prior to arrival full refund minus a $100 administration fee.
If cancelled 30-60 days prior to arrival full refund for any days re-booked. 50% of any un-booked days + $100 administration fee will be retained.
If cancelled 1-29 days prior to arrival full refund for any days re-booked. 100% of any un-booked days + $100 administration fee will be retained.
Maximum of 4 guests. No children under age of 12 and no pets.
