We rented this beautiful home as a place for our family to gather during the week of our wedding as well as the site for our wedding ceremony. It was the perfect gathering spot for all of our out-of-town family members. Absolutely gorgeous property, immaculately maintained and came replete with all the amenities we needed and then some. Frank and George could not have been more helpful and considerate of our needs. An amazing time was had by all - we truly could not have asked for a more perfect setting for our celebration!

We had a wonderful time at the castle! We took our grown children and their families for a well deserved vacation . The castle was more than expected. Have 2 new grandbabies under the age of 4 months and it was perfect ! There was even 2 port a cribs provided! Frank was more than gracious , and we would highly recommend it and hope to be able to vacation at the castle again.

We brought our adult children and 4 toddler grandkids to San Diego after a scheduled business trip for a well needed vacation. Having rented homes across the country the last several years to accomodate our growing clan, we were pleasantly surprised at the castle! The home is impeccible and certainly more than advertised and the hospitality was extrordinary! This is the perfect "home base" from which to enjoy all that san diego has to offer. Frank and George bent over backwords to make our stay enjoyable. I would whole heartedly recommend this home to anyone coming to this area. If we are ever in the area again and looking for accomodations I hope the castle would be available! Thank you Frank for opening up your beautiful home to us!

Rewarding vacation with family - every detail was there!

Our family is unique - a college student traveling from college - to his mothers in another state - to meet us in San Diego. We're located in MN and brought a 15 year old with us. This vacation home is absolutely worth the investment. The bedrooms are spacious and well appointed with luxurious beds and linens. The kitchen and living room have absolutely everything a family could need during their stay -including some marvelous entertainment/technology features. The roof top deck is huge and offers a nice beginning or ending to a busy day. The house is conveniently located to popular and off-the-beaten track destinations. And, is only a few steps to a private beach and the beautiful San Diego bay harbor. With Frank next door and George a phone call away, guests are certain to get exactly what they need - though I can't imagine wanting more! We were delighted with our stay and won't hesitate to rent The Castle again!

We had a wonderful time at the castle and enjoyed our stay very much. We had a large group and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is well equiped including a bar-b-que grill on the roof top terrace. The baths were well apointed. The bedding was comfortable. Over all the aminities including the beach area were outstanding. We would love to stay again. Jean and Stu, Tennessee
