Beautiful Home

5 of 5
Submitted: September 24, 2012 Stayed: September 2012
My wife and I recently stayed at Knollwood while attending a family reunion in Madison County, NC. The house in situated in a quiet wooded area only 2 miles on a paved off the the main highway. The house is immaculate and we were treated like royalty. We inadvertently left something in our room and the owners directly shipped it to us. We stayed in the Master suite while our son and daughter in-law stayed in one of the other bedrooms. Access to the main section of the house was ours and we thoroughly took advantage of it. I would highly recommend it to all who would seek a peaceful setting and comfortable surroundings. Will definitely be returning.

Great stay at Knollwood!

5 of 5
Submitted: July 27, 2012 Stayed: July 2012
We had a wonderful three night stay at Knollwood. The house is absolutely beautiful, clean, and very peaceful. Everything in the description of the house was completely accurate. We loved having access to the whole house. We used the kitchen to prepare breakfast, to pack our lunches for our daily hikes, and to make dinner. The kitchen is beautiful, well-stocked with the essentials, and with all updated appliances. There is a beautiful porch where we sat and ate breakfast each morning. The surrounding area is the perfect place for people wanting to visit Asheville but also interested in being in the mountains. We were able to hike, raft, explore, but also easily access the city. Our hosts were wonderful. They gave us great advice for hiking trails and let us use their guidebooks and magazines to find out what was happening in the area during our stay. They even gave us fresh tomatoes and basil from their garden. A wonderful stay. We'll definitely be back.
