DESIGNER ARTISTS RETREAT -

What a lovely place! The front courtyard is enchanting with the various colors of the plants and lighting. The house is light and airy. The beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept on, besides my own. My nieces, 15 and 17 years of age loved having their own suite. The projector was great for watching movies. It was very comfortable space for the four of us gals. I'd rent it again and recommend it easily. Lisa was very helpful and responsive.

We had breakfast at Fred's Coffee Shop. Great food! Aurora Ristorante, which is down street from house, was excellent for dinner. Scoma's is always great!

The two things I'd point out to fellow travelers is to note there are stairs (20 or so) from the street level down to the house so that should be taken into consideration if you have someone that can't handle a long flight of stairs. I couldn't park in the parking space because the owner's car was there and my rental care was too long (Chrysler 300) for the remaining space behind her car. I had to park on the street, which was actually more convenient since it is a narrow street on a hill in Sausalito and it is hard to see someone coming around the bend, but just something to consider if you have a large car.
