Not ready to be rented.
This rental is located in the plantation which is nice. This house works for families and groups coming to a conference at the plantation. Actually it would work if the third party vendor would clean and repair the unit before you arrive. It wasnt ready for us to rent. 10 of 13 outdoor lights did not work. The pool wasnt cleaned. The house had a water leak, and they put the rug from the dining room out on the deck and left it. Dirty towels in the dryer. The microware never worked. Mice feces all over the upstairs closet. The desk was filled with sticks, leaves, and some trash when we arrived. The patio furniture hadnt been cleaned. The pool house is filled with pool toys, paint cans, mouse feces, and broken things. Good luck figuring out which light switches turn on which lights. I complained several times and had a maint man fix some of the items, but ultimately I had to go to the desk and complain a 3 time. The ended up knocking one day off my bill. My time and inconvenience was worth more. Dont rent. There are obviously better choices.
Owner's Response: Thanks for your input! We were out of state, but have returned with a vengence. We have rectified all concerns and changed management companies to Amelia Rental! Trent Maddox is the owner and Lorie, Dawn are his lead helpers in the office -- they are awesome, you will love them. We just spent a great week in front of our great fireplace, in our warm pool, and walking on the beautiful beach. This place is terrific - everything is clean and working and even some new furniture. thanks again, carl
