An attractive villa within the community of El Palmeral at the Golf Bonalba Resort with picturesque views towards Alicante, the sea and the mountains. El Palmeral is security gated and has the private facilities of a communal swimming pool and a children's play area. The villa has gardens, front and rear and four terraces. There is a fully equipped kitchen and in the living/dining room there is Satellite TV/video/DVD and a Tape/CD player. A selection of videos/DVDs, Cd's and childrens games are provided. A cot and high chair are also available.

The Bonalba Golf Resort nestles in the foothills of the Sierra de Bonalba overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.25 minutes from Alicante airport. Approx 4 Km from the beaches of El Campello & San Juan.If you become bored with relaxing by the pool or laying on the beach the villa is ideally situated for exploring the region. Benidorm is approx 20 minutes away on the motorway where there are many attractions including the Terra Mitica theme park, a huge water amusement park called Aqualandia and Mundomar which is a marine & exotic animal park with daily Dolphin shows. There are many historical towns to visit including Murcia,Orihuela,Elche (the shoe manufacturing capital of Spain) and not forgetting Alicante (approx 10 mins away).So often overlooked but it is a lovely town for a days shopping with numerous restaurants and cafes to visit.There are tree lined avenues to wander down or just to sit and watch the world go by.

Golf Bonalba: Golf Bonalba is a magnificent 18 hole par 72 course measuring 6.367m from the back tees. There is a golf academy with professional instructors, large driving range, putting greens, approach area and bunker practice green. The clubhouse has a restaurant, tapas bar and terrace plus all the usual golf amenities. It is open every day of the year from 8am.and breakfasts are served at the clubhouse. The annual daily average temperature of 20C and the wonderful beach of San Juan only 4 Km from the first tee makes Bonalba a privileged area where golf can be played all year round. Golf Bonalba has excellent communications, from the international airport de El Altet (Alicante), 25 Minutes. Bonalba is 10 minutes by motorway from Alicante. Other golf courses nearby include Golf Alicante 18 hole par 72,Golf Alenda 18 hole par 72 and Golf El Plantio 18 hole par 72.

Families: The villa is, of course not just for golfers. Because of its situation it is ideal for family holidays with the beaches of El Campello and San Juan at approximately 4km.10km to Alicante and 30km to Benidorm.We enjoy our visits to El Campello where there are numerous restaurants and cafes overlooking the promenade and beach. There is a small commercial centre at Bonalba with 2 general stores,2 Banks,4 cafe/bars+ a Restaurant. An Italian restaurant is only 5 minutes walk from our villa which does take aways. There is a large Carrefour supermarket approximately 8 minutes from Bonalba. Spa Bonalba: newly opened in July 2004 is impressive. The pool, set in tropical gardens has a gently sloping beach entry with an inner cave and waterfall, a slide and Jacuzzi and a separate section for children. Other facilities at the Spa include a gym, steam room and sauna and health and beauty treatments. There is a nursery facility available should parents wish to have a little free time

Our holiday was excellent,the house was spotless,comfortable and a complete home from home.We didn't want for anything.We enjoyed the quiet and relaxation of Bonalba.Angela(booked 5 times) Just back from a wonderful holiday at Bonalba. The villa was superb, v. quiet with an excellent pool. The Spa was very impressive indeed. Thanks for your excellent directions, our 3 girls enjoyed using your video selection on some nights. We are already talking about going back. Keith & Family(booked twice)
Our holiday was thoroughly enjoyable. The villa was impressive with everything we could ask for. We would certainly not hesitate in recommending Bonalba to friends & family. Andrew & Emma

As a family holiday this was as good as we could expect, the location of the pool was amazing, literally 20 yds from the front door meant that nipping back for drinks etc. was amazingly practical. The house was fantastically equiped in fact I don't think there is anything we needed for our two weeks that wasn't already available, from kitchen utensils to beach/pool goodies (which we added a couple more bits to before we left!!)

The proximity to the beach etc. means you will really need a car as the nearest beach is still a 10 minute drive away and being up a fairly steep hill the walk to the 'local' shop is still pretty tiring (when it was 30+ degrees!!) but provides all the essentials and there is a lovely little bar/restaraunt there too.

The Spa is extraordinarily expensive though, as a family of 5 we were talking nearly £100 for a single day and seems that the membership option still required a daily payment even if you pay a membership fee (again approx £100) and from the reports received it seemed it was not worth the money anyway so we stayed away.

All in all we had a wonderful time, helped by the perfect weather, the beaches in the area (which were all very clean) and the quality of the property. I would also like to say the owners were superb in their initial responses to my many questions :) and throughout the lead up to the holiday which made everything so much easier. Thanks again for a lovely holiday.

We have used the holiday rentals website on previous occasions and came across this little gem of a property.

We gave it a try and have subsequently re-booked 5 times. Each time the house has been immaculate, a perfect home from home. The communal pool is fab in the summer!

The local bars and restaurants, both on the Bonalba resort, in nearby Campello, and further afield in Benidorm cater for all tastes from Sausage, Egg and Chips to Paella, so you will always find something you fancy.

We couldn't ask for better customer service, and a big thank you goes to Jackie, Graham and Lorraine from all of us!
