About Owner/Manager

I grew up in Somerset, UK and now live in Washington DC with my Fiance Alex. This was our home when we lived in London and we love to return and stay there when visiting family.

Owner/Manager purchased this apartment in 2006
Why Owner/Manager chose Richmond & Kew

We bought this property because of its wonderful location, and all the benefits of what West London has to offer are so close by. Kew is not only close to the River Thames, it also has a wonderful village feel with its great restaurants, tea rooms and tube line all within strolling distance. It's also only 20 mins to Heathrow Airport which was a bonus when I lived there full time and traveled a lot!

What makes this apartment unique

As soon as I walked into this flat I couldn't wait to sit and relax in the big windows that over look Kew Gardens. It was a wonderful haven to come back to after a day at work in the city and now provides a wonderful resting place for our guests!

Kew Gardens has a charming 'village' atmosphere, it is very safe and has attracted some lovely boutique shops, restaurants and cafes that are just moments walk from the flat. It has become one of the most desirable places to live in West London.

The Botanical gardens, National Archives, Kew Green, River Thames and Richmond Park are all within walking distance.

It's just a 15 minute taxi ride from Heathrow airport and is conveniently located for accessing central London as Kew Gardens metro / tube station on the District line is only a 3-4 minute walk from the flat.

Richmond park is perfect for a picnic or for biking jogging, its one of the most beautiful parks in London is home to many wild deer.

There are all the local shops/stores you could need, a metro Tesco for groceries, a bakery, natural food store and of course Kew Inn, our local pub! Dont miss the outdoor bakery/food market at the weekend.

Fabulous relaxing retreat in beautiful Kew

This is the most beautiful apartment to stay in and I would thoroughly recommend it. Not only is the location gorgeous, the flat itself is perfectly appointed and has all the facilities you could think of to make for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. On top of this Lara, is the most fabulous person to deal with and couldn't be more helpful and welcoming.

I feel very fortunate that we came across this property and we will definitely be back.

Perfect Place to Stay in London!

Everything about this place is perfect. Great location- just a few minute walk to the Tube and center of Kew. Key is a charming town with coffee, shops, restaurants and gift shops. Check out The Glasshouse restaurant. You will need reservations but it will be a wonderful experience and amazing food. Kew is a short train ride to downtown.
The flat is stunning. It has floor to ceiling windows in the front and is beautifully furnished. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to make a nice dinner. I highly recommend renting this flat. Lara (the owner) is a delight to work with! The whole experience was a great one!

Perfect haven to call home while exploring London

A few girlfriends and I recently stayed the week at this gorgeous flat in Kew Gardens and I can't say enough about the flat as well as Lara and Angela!

The flat was fully stocked with everything we could have needed down to little details like extra toiletries, oyster cards, fresh flowers, even fresh milk and a few other little grocery starters. The listing looked and sounded amazing and it held up to it's promise.

Lara and Angela were absolutely lovely to work with! Their attention to detail was top notch and their eye for design fabulous. As a design junkie I really appreciated the vintage finds mixed with the modern furnishings and we all appreciated the comfort the flat provided after running around London. We even stayed in one day just relax and enjoy the flat (don't leave without enjoying a soak in the enormous tub!)

The community of Kew was perfect as well. It was so nice to have a little sanctuary away from the hustle of central London yet still quickly and easily accessible. The tube station was just a 5 minute walk and surrounded by quaint little shops including a post office, bookstore / card shop, bakery, awesome cafe, wine shop and a Tesco....basically everything you could need. Plus Richmond was only 1 tube stop away which is definitely worth a visit.
