Bring your kayaks and launch them from the front or the back yard and paddle to the open ocean while watching Maine's native birds; Hawks, kingfishers, herons. Paddle your way up Chauncey Creek and have lunch at The Lobster Pier where you can bring your own bottle of wine and enjoy local seafood dishes. Check out Kittery Point and nearby beaches like Sea Point Beach and Fort Foster - just 3 or so miles away! Other local Beaches include Long Sands and Short Sands in York, ME and Rye and Hampton Beach in N.H.
Many wonderful restaurants and historical sites in both Kittery and Portsmouth, N.H. Shoppers! We have the Kittery Outlets and of course down town Portsmouth. Do you Love the Theater? Portsmouth offers theater by the sea, Prescott Park, and the Music Hall. Just a 60 miles North of Boston, 50 miles South of Portland ME, and approximately 2 hours from The White Mountains in NH, Kittery Point is quietly nestled in the center of some of New England's nicest attractions.
