Beautifully remodeled lakefront home in the Lake Champlain Islands available for rent. This house is spacious, with a large open kitchen that leads into a great room, which is equipped with a built-in bar. The openess of this house provides everyone in your group a space of their own while still providing a feeling of unity for family and friends. Beautiful views of Lake Champlain are visible from the back porches. There is a shale stone beach just across the street for your enjoyment which also has excellent bass fishing. This is the perfect rental for your vacation!
Upon entering this rental it became obvious that the owners had
comfort and convenience in mind when doing the renovations. It was
also obvious that they genuinely cared about making their property
feel like a home away from home. This show of respect towards
prospective tenants was matched by the personal service that we
received. Our dealings with Nate were nothing short of excellent. He
was always very helpful, and went out of his way to make sure we had a
pleasant stay. All of their efforts were well appreciated by our
We loved the open floor plan, and there was plenty of nice furniture
for all to be comfy. We had up to nine people in our party, and we had
plenty of room. The master bedroom was big enough for our son's family
to camp out in - and they still had room to move around! We also had
plenty of closet/storage space. Having two television areas was nice,
and both had a lot of channels to choose from - to include free
The outside offered a lot of space as well - decks front and back with
ample seating, and a good sized yard. I liked the fact that the grill
was set up on its own side deck. The home has woods on one side, and a
few trees forming a barrier on the other. Privacy was never an issue.
A great place to kick back with family and/or friends.
The location was not as remote as we first thought. The drive through
the islands did not seem to take long, so our excursion to Burlington
proved to be a nice outing. The drives to NY to buy groceries were a
great way to explore the area, and did not feel inconvenient. The Isle
of LaMotte is right across the bridge that is in the picture of the
lake. Across the bridge in the other direction (North Hero) is a food
vendor who has good food at reasonable prices. FYI: next to this
concession is a convenience store where you can purchase fishing
licenses on the spot. You can opt to buy a 1, 3, or 7 day license.
AND, if you plan on having a private charter for a day of fishing, be
sure to tell the Captain your location - I was able to have our group
picked up at our dock!
Although we weren't directly on the water, we left with only two
regrets: We only booked for one week - not two; and we didn't have our
We would stay here again and hope to return one day!
Had a great week-end in this house.
Very warm atmosphere room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The double living room configuration is great for a larger group.
Very clean place too.

This is the second time we are renting this cosy, comfy, clean house. Like last time, we felt like home and spent a very relaxing and enjoyable Xmas. We also highly appreciated the kind gesture of Nate leaving us a Xmas surprise in the fridge.
Definitely, we will come again and try a different in season such as summer time.
We all, children and parents, loved the house. It is cosy, comfy, well-equipped, clean, well located, with beautiful view of the lake and sunset, space outside for children to play.
We will definitely come back.
We will be back, the house was very nice and loved the setting and privacy.
Very impressed with the well stocked house. We were 4 couples, staying in the house and we were in VT for a wedding in St. Albans and stayed for a few extra days to enjoy the scenery.
The house was clean and well stocked. Only complaint was the occasional cold burst of water that someone would receive if they were taking a shower and others were washing dishes or doing a load of laundry. We learned to limit hot water use when someone was taking a shower. I would highly recommend this place to others. We took scenic drives on Rt. 2 and went around to New York and traveled south along the lake and took the ferry back over to the lake islands in VT. We visited Snow Farms Winery in South Hero, VT. We had friends in Fairfax that took us to Snugglers Notch and Stow, VT for a day. Beautiful scenery and lots to do in that area. Thanks for letting us enjoy this wonderful house while were in Vermont.
Our family from 5 different towns had a wonderful stay at this cozy yet roomy lakeside house. The owners were very nice, meeting us the first day and showing all aspects of the property. The week of weather we had was one of the best weeks all summer. The house had all the benefits of home, from dishes and spices to towels, cable and wifi. The state park 2 miles down the road was also a wonderful adventure for the whole family. 4 Bedrooms and 2 separate living areas was nice when relaxing. Plenty of room outside for unwinding and playing around with the kids. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a true Vermont and Lake Champlain experience.
In front of this rental property, there is bass fishing right from the beach. Westerly views make for beautiful sunsets from your backyard. Alburgh Golf Links is located 0.2 miles away. Alburgh Sand Dunes State Park provides a public beach for swimming (2 miles away). St. Anne's Shrine is an outdoor place of worship which is a 5 minute drive. Montreal Canada is less than an hour and a half away which provides many different attractions from casinos to theme parks. Parc Safari is 45 minutes away, which now features a water park. (Bring your passports) The Lake Champlain Islands are bustling with activities from winery tours in South Hero, to bird watching in the Missisquoi wildlife refuge. The Islands have a picturesque landscape which can be enjoyed by walking, hiking, paddling, or cycling. Burlington is less than a one hour drive where people can enjoy the waterfront, summer festivals, and shop on church street.
