Even Better than the Photos!

We were a party of 6, and experienced last minute changes to our original plans in St. Thomas. My daughter surfed VRBO and found this property (she loved the photos). I called the owner, she was extremely helpful and before we knew it we were on our way to Bella Luna for the week.
This is a gorgeous property. The online photos give you a peak at the views, the property, the amenities, but in person it's even better than the online photos. The house is two story, with two bedrooms upstairs, along with a living room, and one bedroom downstairs. All of the rooms have incredible views of the Magen's Bay, and all of the rooms have multiple doors leading out to the veranda/pool deck. Opening the veranda/pool deck doors in the bedroom early morning and listening to the waves crashing on the rocks below was incredible, and there was always a cool breeze blowing (although we did make use of the air conditioners as well, each room has a remote opertated unit). All linens, towels, etc. were provided, (as advertised) and the villa was very clean upon our arrival.
The rest of the downstairs was gorgeous, with the family room (flat screen TV, Bose ipod player, games, etc.), and of course, the kitchen. Great kitchen! Big kitchen, with island and fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals all week (including a gas or charcoal grill out front).
But one of my favorite things about this property was the pool and the pool deck. Overlooking the ocean, with an infinity pool and a huge deck (including two large tables that we ate most of our dinners on) and a hammock. I wanted to stay outside on that deck day and night (star gazing is pretty good from this fairly secluded property).
You definitely need a rental car when staying at this property, the walk to Hull Bay beach is great, but everything else does require a vehicle (groceries, downtown, etc).
The only problem we experienced during our week long stay was one of the air conditioners (downstairs bedroom) wasn't cooling too well when we arrived. But Alex (caretaker for the property) had the A/C company out there immediately and took care of it. Alex (hey Alex!) was great, there when we needed him and always very nice.
I would definitely recommend this property to family, friends, etc. And we look forward to staying at the property again sometime soon.
