Cottage, 3 Bedrooms, 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 6-7)

Just steps from the beach, this cottage is located on a high dune lot with direct beach access. Trees on sides and back of lot create a very private and quiet atmosphere. Roof deck and covered porches, both front and side, let you enjoy all the sights and sounds of the sea.

Come and relax on the beautiful sandy shore of the Atlantic and enjoy a family-friendly beach experience at Oak Island, NC. Within a 45-minute drive you can be in Myrtle Beach, or 30 minutes to Wilmington and 10 minutes to historical Southport Waterfront. North Carolina Aquarium, The Civil War Museum and Bald Head Island are a short ferry ride away. Casual dining and seaside dining are available as well.

Hi, we are delighted to share our beach cottage with you. We purchased it 18 yrs ago after searching the east coast of N.C. from Wilmington to Pawley's Island . We really love the family friendly atmosphere of Oak Island and with our kids and friends, have spent time there every summer making great memories. Through the yrs we have continued to upgrade and take the best of care of our special cottage. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Wonderful house and beach

We were very pleased with the house; it was spacious, well stocked, clean, and on a quiet street. You could hear the ocean from the porch. There were so many areas to enjoy, from all the decks to the swing and hammock on the ground level in the shade. The outdoor shower was awesome! Having on site laundry was so nice: no hauling tons of dirty laundry back home. Linda was very easy to work with. We definitely plan on coming back!! Thank you, Al and Linda, for opening your home to others. We really had a fun and relaxing time! Travelers, be sure to check out nearby Southport and Bubba's Fudge Shop!

Great relaxing beach cottage

I stayed at this beach cottage with my children for spring break and everyone loved it. It is an easy 2 minute walk to the beach...just down the sidewalk, across the street, and you're there. The house itself as is exactly as nice as it looks in the pictures. What really did it for me was the extensive decks - a front deck, a deck to dine on, and a deck on top of the house which gave great views.
I noticed there is one review that lists a bunch of negative things and from my experience I did not experience any of those things - only thing i found true was that the grill there is a tailgate type grill.

I found the value of the cottage absolutely perfect and would gladly stay here again on our next trip to Oak Island! It is perfect for a small group wanting a relaxing beach vacation.
