This is a very comfortable “home from home”, furnished to an exceptional standard with a mixture of contemporary and antique furniture and fully air-conditioned, making it the perfect place to return after a busy days sightseeing for one or two families or a group of friends who wish to enjoy the history and character of Seville whilst living in a luxury home.
Situated in the heart of the historical centre (La Judería), this house is located in the pedestrian-only side of one of the most ancient and beautiful streets in Seville.
The main facade faces the palace of Don Miguel Mañara, on whose early life is based the universal character of Don Juán Tenorio. The original medieval palace was modernized to Renascence style in the XVI c. and it has been declared 'Historical Patrimony of Spain'.
The lateral facade faces an orange-tree lined street opposite St. Bartholomew's church, built in XVIII c. over the ancient central synagogue of Seville.
Built in 1910, this characterful property has all the comforts of a modern luxury family home while it has retained many of it's original features, including a central patio -now covered with a bullet-proof grade skylight-, high ceilings and neoclassical facades opposite historical buildings. The house is warm in winter and cool in summer due to the thickness of the outer walls and high ceilings.
The five-bedroomed, five-bathroomed house is fully air-conditioned (heat and cold) with individual controls in each room, additional wall-mounted radiators and constant hot water circulation for permanent access to hot water in every tap of the house within seconds. The five stucco and marble bathrooms are fully equipped. All bedrooms have built-in wardrobes. The house is fitted with alarm and lift for comfortable access to all floors.
The ground floor contains an ample hall, one master bedroom, one double bedroom and one family bathroom with walk-in shower.
The first floor contains the five-balconied 430 sq. ft. living-room and adjoining dining area with an antique Bohemian crystal chandelier over a design cherry-wood and stone dining table that can sit up to ten people comfortably. There is also a family bathroom and a modern, fully-equipped kitchen with a relaxing view over the orange trees by the church facade.
The second floor contains a second master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a further double bedroom and a separate family bathroom.
The beds in the house are: one king-size bed (160x180 cm) and eight 1x2 meter single beds. All beds are fitted with brand new hotel-grade very high quality mattresses.
The third floor contains the gas boiler, washing machine, clothes-dryer and a full-height freezer. It gives access to a 700 sq. ft. roof terrace fitted with a canopy, sofa, armchairs, coffee table and a separate dining table and chairs for outside dining or entertaining whilst enjoying beautiful sunset views over the rooftops and churches and the Giralda. If you wish to sunbathe during the day, you can refresh yourself in the outdoor shower.
There is a LCD TV in the living room, DVD player, wi-fi, a small library with books in Spanish and English and a selection of toys to keep the young members of the family amused.
There are curtains in all rooms for extra comfort sleeping. Built-in wardrobes in all bedrooms. All towels, soap and shampoo are supplied and there is an extra set of linen available if you require.
It really was a delight to stay in.

stunning and made us want to stay in for a change! The attention to detail
you have is very impressive and we have shown our photos to friends and
family and they all comment about how amazing the house looks.
The location was obviously another advantage - lovely windy streets, nearby
bars/restaurants and a supermarket - we really couldn't have asked for more!

This house's privileged location puts Seville's history at your doorstep.
The House of Pilate (built in XVI c. as a copy of the praetorium of Pontius Pilate in Jerusalem), Jardines de Murillo, Parque de Maria Luisa, Plaza de España, Torre del Oro, Royal Alcázares and the Cathedral (La Giralda) are within a five to 10 minute walk radius from the house.
If visiting Seville during Easter -the “Semana Santa”- this quiet location allows living in the heart of the festivity without the inconvenience of the heavy traffic for access to the city centre during these days.
The river banks and the “Feria de Sevilla” are within a 15 minute walking distance.
The house is close to the myriad of restaurants, cafes and night-life of Seville, including “La Carbonería” at the far end of the street, an iconic venue in Seville's night-life that offers live flamenco as well as a cosmopolitan, bustling atmosphere.
There are a number of parks and sporting facilities locally. Supermarkets are only 350 yds away. The area is very safe for walking at any time of the day or night.
