The Mayo Clinic Scottsdale is 7 minutes drive. To Phoenix Sky Harbort Int'l Airport PHX 30 minutes, to Airpark Scottsdale 20 minutes drive. To Frank Lloyd Wright Talesien West 13 minutes and his stunning Biltmore Resort 36 minutes.
We made lovely day trips from here, we recommend, Fort McDowell Park for an afternoon hike, the fountain (full hour for 15 min) and the farmers/art market on Thursdays. The Apache Trail with ghost town and cliff dwellings. Tucson with Casa Grande, Picacho Peak Park and lots more. Hikes into White Tank Mountain, the Superstitions. To Sedona it is a 2,5 hour drive don't miss Montezuma Castle. The Zoo in Phoenix. Heard Museum and Indian Craft Markets
