DESERT SANCTUARY: QUIET LUXURY HOME W/ POOL, PUTTING/CHIPPING GREENS, KIVA

Enjoyed this lovely Scottsdale home for a week. I spent a couple of days with my 24 year old son and his girlfriend and they loved the setting so much they never wanted to leave to do anything else but relax by the pool and enjoy the desert setting. They left mid-week and I was joined by 7 of my girlfriends for our 23rd annual getaway trip. We spent most of the trip relaxing and enjoying the house. The house and grounds were exactly as shown in the photos. The house is very spacious and very comfortable and has all the amenities you could need and will enjoy. The house was very clean, well furnished and tastefully decorated. The grounds were very well maintained. We used the barbecue three nights during our stay, and the pool is a perfect size and very refreshing, and although no Jacuzzi, having the outdoor Kiva was a very nice compromise. We used it throughout our stay for roasting marshmallows and chatting fireside. The location is on the outskirts of town but adds to the ambiance for a tranquil, relaxing getaway, it wasn't a downside for us. We had an issue with the pool and outdoor lighting upon arrival but it was addressed immediately. We met the neighbor to the right who was very friendly, but in general it is a very quiet setting. For my group of eight ladies, they got the most enjoyment from these destinations: Whole Foods Scottsdale, The Big Bang Dueling Piano Bar in Phoenix, Slide Rock State Park in Sedona, Harold's Corral in Cave Creek and the Buffalo Chip Saloon in Cave Creek; Cave Creek is a short drive from the house and an enjoyable destination to add to your trip itinerary. I pick a new destination each year, but if I wanted to come back to Scottsdale, we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home just as advertised. Very clean and well equipped. Owner was very responsive to emails and answering our questions. We would recommend this property to friends and would stay here again on our next trip to Scottsdale.

We enjoyed the somewhat remote aspect of the locations and dined at local restaurants as well as grilled out at the house.

This premium house is in a semi-rural neighborhood of other nice homes in the horse country of far North Scottsdale. It is a high quality residence just beyond where the streets are paved. The location provides expansive views of distant mountains, dark starry nights, and quiet. It was perfect for our golf group who gathered from both coasts and wanted to experience the desert even if it meant a little extra driving.

The description of the property is accurate. It is new, clean, and spacious on a nice sized property. The kitchen is very well equipped with quality utensils, a priority for all the cooks in our group and not the norm from our past experience on other golf trips. We were able to seat eight at the kitchen table using a couple of extra chairs from around the house. There are comfortable gathering areas inside and out, as depicted in the pictures. There was plenty of space to spread out. The kiva was a nice place for cocktails before dinner. The pool was inviting but the water was chilly. Three of the four bedrooms have balconies - nice places to sit in the morning to take in the vistas while drinking coffee and checking email. The wi-fi worked well inside and outside the house.

We were well located for the golf courses on our agenda: Grayhawk, WeKoPa, and Troon North, which are all in the Scottsdale or northeast Phoenix area. We also took a tour of Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright’s winter home during his later years. We checked out Reata Pass, which is a small collection of late 1800’s buildings that gives an idea of the rough, early settlements of the area. It has a good steakhouse a biker bar and it’s only a few miles from the house.

LuAnn and Jeff were very responsive when we called. It's obvious they take care of their property and want their guests to be happy. I'd recommend this house to a friend or relative. It’s for those who want to experience the desert rather than stay in a built up area. The pricing just adds to the appeal of this house.
