SeaBreeze, a classic Maine Victorian cottage, was built in 1910 on a hillside overlooking Gurnet Strait. Panoramic views of the upper New Meadows River are but one of the attractions ~ enjoy your morning coffee on the expansive veranda while watching lobstermen hauling traps. Later in the day, relax on your private dock for Happy Hour as the sun sets over Gurnet Strait. Indian Rest, the community encompassing SeaBreeze, was established in 1903 and this cottage was one of the first to be built. Serving as a Tea House in a previous era, she has been lovingly maintained in a manner preserving both her charm and character. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets are included at no charge. Walking trails through fifty acres of natural woodland provide yet another relaxing diversion. You will have access to four kayaks (please bring your own life preservers) and a private dock in addition to use of the Indian Rest Community Dock.

The Community Dock is available for swimming and dinghy tie-up. A golf cart is included to facilitate trips back and forth between SeaBreeze and your private dock. The only item not included is a television - surrounded by beautiful scenery and friendly waters, a TV would be an intrusion ~

What a spectacular place! The views and setting are outstanding, with vistas so broad that each person in our family found a private spot to sit and contemplate the beauty of the water and islands. The house and grounds are extraordinarily well cared for, and the owners could not have been more gracious and accommodating This is a beautiful, welcoming, and relaxed environment for some serious vacationing. The cooks in the family loved the large, open, well-provisioned kitchen. We all loved kayaking, swimming, birding,, hiking, dinners on the screen porch and eating in the Harpswell area. Everything you could want in a vacation is here. We loved it!!

SeaBreeze is a lovely way to enjoy the Maine Coast. It is located close to great views,seafood,and even close enough to city activities, Portland, if one has the inclinations. This is a great way to get away from the hustle and bustle of work life and just sit back and relax in a lovely location. Peacefull!!! Has a dock with kayacks and a walking trail is just a step away. The accomodations are clean and well maintained. We would recommend this stay to anyone who is looking to enjoy a peaceful vacations with all the things that make the Maine coast special.

Sea Breeze

We spent the week of the 4th of July at the Sea Breeze and could not have found a better place to stay.
The house was beautiful it had everything we needed and then some. The owners were wonderful very easy to deal with.
The view from everywhere in the house is amazing. One morning we even spotted some Seals and an Eagle right out in the bay from the front window.
I can't say enough about the SeaBreeze except that will be back again.

This is the perfect place to stay. Spent 1 week and everything was terrific. Clean up to date amenities. Private yard. Easy access to water (kayaking or just to sit on the dock and watch the lobster boats) and walking path right out the backyard. Great locations only 10 minute drive to downtown Brunswick. Lots of restaurants (great lobster close by). Thank you for everything! We loved the place. The Seabreeze has helped ease our stress and renewed our energy for the upcoming year. Thank you again.

Weekend @ SeaBreeze

We arrived, after driving through heavy rain, to a spectacular sunset.
We spent an absolutely gorgeous fall Saturday here taking in all that SeaBreeze has to offer.
Oh yes, we did leave only once. We drove up the road to the to the local seafood place where we enjoyed a fabulous meal sitting outside, over looking the water.
Returning to another beautiful sunset, a little jazz, and cocktails on the veranda. Awoke early to a picture perfect sunrise while watching lobstermen earn their living.
Now, as we reluctantly pack our bags to leave, it is beginning to rain and it's still beautiful! T & A
