WATER FRONT CONDO, ISLA DORADA A PRIVATE ISLAND AND A DREAM COME TRUE!

I just got home from a month in Cancun and was fortunate enough to stay at Cristina’s beautiful condo on Isla Dorada. I looked at many condo rentals in Cancun but nothing matched the size and beauty of this condo. Travelling for an entire month, I did not want a hotel. I wanted a ‘home away from home’ and that is exactly what I got. The condo is huge, modern, and well equipped.

Without a doubt, my favorite thing with the condo was the balcony. I spent my mornings sipping a cup of coffee, reading, and listening to nothing except the birds and the breeze. No buses. No people. It reminded me a lot of being at the cottage back in Canada. In the later afternoon, if you want to suntan, there is no better place than the balcony. The sun has passed over the Hotel Zone and the 5th floor location is perfect for soaking up the final rays of the day. Then, it’s time for the beautiful sunsets, often accompanied by passing boats and ships offering a great photo opportunity.

The people employed at Punta Dorada as well as those throughout Isla Dorada keep this island in pristine condition. Whether they are painting, cleaning, or trimming trees, they do a very good job to keep this place beautiful and are quick to offer a smile and a friendly ‘Hola.’

One thing that I really wanted before I booked my trip was a condo with a gym. The gym here is well equipped and absolutely spotless. The combination of the gym, the lap pool, and the leisurely walk through Isla Dorada helped me come home in better shape than when I left. How great is that?

I could go on and on about this place but I will wrap it up. Cristina is a gracious host. She is completely committed to ensuring that your stay is one to remember. From my first email, asking about the condo to my arrival back home, Cristina is only an email, text, or phone call away. Would I return? If I didn’t have to work I would be there tomorrow.

One word of warning! Watch out for the black recliner in the living room. Way too comfortable!

Excellent location. Extremely private. Felt like home. All the amenities you need. One recommendation is that you rent a car due to walking everyday to the front gate could get tiresome. But as for the condo, beautiful and well kept. Will definitly rent there again. The owner and her assistant answered all questions and gave excellent suggestions. Highly recommend.
