There are four cottages at Kervernel set in over one and a half acres with lots of holiday facilities for all the family and a heated swimming pool. All the cottages have central heating making them perfect for those off season holidays. Details for Le Pressoir 4 Bedrooms, Sleeps 8, 2 Bathrooms

The cottage Le Pressoir has four bedrooms and can sleep up to eight people. Like L’Ecurie and La Bergerie it has the luxury of oil fired central heating making it ideal for those out of season breaks. The entrance leads to the fitted kitchen/dining room with cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, iron and ironing board, dining table and chairs. Downstairs also is a shower room with shower, washbasin and toilet and washing machine. The separate lounge is well furnished with sofas and armchairs. Like our other cottages you will find lots of books to browse through for your holiday reading. The cottage has English TV for you to keep up to date with your favourite programmes and also a DVD/CD player. Upstairs are four bedrooms. Two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and the fourth bedroom with bunk beds which is perfect for children. Also on this floor is the bathroom with bath/shower, washbasin and toilet. The patio area to the front of the cottage has garden table

Kervernel on the outskirts of the village of La Chapelle Neuve is 15 minutes from the towns of Locminé and Baud, and 40 minutes to the famous southern Brittany beaches and the towns of Vannes and Lorient. The ferry ports of St Malo & Roscoff are a 2 hour drive & the ports of Caen & Cherbourg are a 4 hour drive. If you are travelling by the tunnel your drive is about 8-10 hours from Calais. The airports at Dinard and Brest are about a 2 hour drive and the airports at Rennes and Nantes an about an hour and a half. Car hire available at all airports

Notes: At Kervernel there is loads of space for ball games and plenty to do for all the family. The large grounds are ideal for the children to play in and make new friends while you watch from your terrace relaxing and sipping a glass or two of wine. But if you feel like being a bit energetic try your hand at boule on our large boule court or play a game of table tennis or shuttlecock. The heated swimming pool is 10 x 5 metres, there are roman steps at one end to make it easy for you to get into the pool and at the other end it is deep enough for diving. It has a safely ledge running round the perimeter so that you can take a breather wherever you are in the pool. A large terrace with tables, chairs, parasols and sun loungers surrounds the pool. For your safety the pool area is completely fenced in. New - retractable telescopic pool cover providing sheltered swimming in inclement weather. The swimming pool is open from mid May to mid September depending on local weather conditions

Peace and quiet in Brittany

We would recommend these cottages to anyone who is looking for a quiet relaxed holiday. Our hosts Liz and Tom were very welcoming and happy to help, whilst being discrete in their attentions. The cottages are maintained to a high standard, the beds were clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well equiped. We found everything that we needed, food wise, available in the local villages, and I would recommend taking full use of the barbeque, who wants to be in the kitchen on holiday? We loved the pool area and the ball games that were provided. Our son is ambulant disabled and he managed very well in the cottage that we rented, Le Pressoir. The coast and the beautiful beaches at Carnac are only a short drive away, as were many other sights.
