Your immediate reaction upon opening the door is a guaranteed “Wow”! While the building itself is no more than a white box, this apartment is stunning in every way. The best descriptive words are “tasteful” and “sophisticated”. Two of the exterior walls in the main living area are floor to ceiling windows. These can be blocked completely, totally open, or anything in between by controlling the mechanized exterior blinds. The exterior deck wraps around two sides of the building affording a 180° view that includes the ocean. The floors are uniformly tiled in two-foot squares of Italian marble. The granite counter tops provide a perfect and subtle contrast. Even the color scheme is understated and tasteful enough to be noteworthy.
All of the appliances are brand new and include the latest washer/dryer combination from LG so you won’t be going home with dirty clothes or feeding coins to a washer dryer.
With all of this said, luxury, elegance and sophistication are not the best things about this accommodation. The best feature is immediately apparent when you are greeted by Lilibeth who is “hands down” the most gracious, competent and pleasant property manager I have yet to meet anywhere. She will carefully explain everything you need to know and provide helpful tips on what to do during your stay. If something goes amiss she is immediately “on the case.”
Finally, speaking as a person who owns a rental property in the United States, I was astounded with the unexpected “extras” the owner has provided to ensure you an enjoyable vacation. . From an initial supply of coffee, a New York Times electronic Suduko game, playing cards, books, a sizable DVD collection, and a high quality sound system that will accommodate your iPod, you will find an array of amenities that are well thought out and carefully organized.
I have visited Juan Dolio a number of times. The choices in possible accommodations seems to quadruple with every visit. Nowhere, however, will you find a better, more elegant combination of price and quality than right here.
