Golf Courses:
There are many well know golf courses. Donna de Noche is 1km away with night golfing as well.
Aloha Golf Course 2 km. Las Brisas, Las Narajas, La Quinta and at least another 30 courses along the coast.
Beaches:
The Little Cottage is on the Golden Mile between Marbella and Puerto Banus. There are the best beaches on Costa del Sol in this area. There is a beach walkway from Marbella to Puerto Banus (about 6 kms.) with continuous beach restaurants, cafes and beach facilities. There is of course the entire coast to explore but this is an area with easy walking for 6 kilometers where joggers and bike riders, skateboarding on Marbella marble walk way as well as small roadside stands of summer kiosks to luxury dining.
Mountains and country:
The Little Cottage is on the Istan Road, just off the main coastal road, N-340 and three minutes to Puerto Banus on the E-15. This Istan road ends at the Village of Istan. (13 kms inland from the cottage) There are many walking areas around the village that are marked because of an hotel there that features walking signs for kilometers in the hills and mountains. It is also an entertaining walk from the Cottage up the grassy river bed or down to the sea to Puerto Banus. This is in the country and yet three minutes by car to Puerto Banus. This is probably the only valley that has been undeveloped leaving only estate owned land because of the green zoning. There is only one neighbor and the next neighbor is half a kilometer toward the sea. Monolo Santana Tennis Club and town houses.
There is country quiet life with tall trees and birds with only a country view or Puerto Banus with it's famous international jet set-all night life within three minutes. The best of both worlds.

The Little Cottage is within one kilometer from Dame de Noche golding that has night hours as well as the day.
Las Narajas Golfing in just a bit further. On top of the hill from the Cottage. There is also a sports T off as well as a golf restaurant one kilometer away.
