Perfect Vacation
We had an amazing time at the chalet. Milt was wonderful to us, and we couldn't have been more happy with our stay. The views are gorgeous, and the water never looked the same twice. The house was very comfortable and we loved the Swiss style. There was plenty of room for our family of six to gather together for meals and games yet also spread out for time alone. Our girls loved the hammocks on the deck, and spent hours there reading. The use of the kayaks and fishing boat were high points.
We spent a day on Mackinac Island and a day going to Tahquamenon Falls, Sault Ste Marie, and Oswald's Bear Farm. They were great day trips, and it was wonderful to come back to the peaceful chalet at night.
Just a few minutes down the road from the chalet is a beautiful beach with shallow, warm water, and we spent hours there two different days. Not too far away is a dollar general store and small grocery for things we needed. We ate at the house every day, and didn't eat out in town or order pizza, but we saw several options.
The home is beautiful, the scenery and nature even more so, and it was good for our souls to be away and in such a beautiful place. Thank you so much, Milt!
