If you know Sea Isle City, this is one of the best locations to rent. It is far enough from the bar areas that it is quiet, but still close enough to almost everything that you need for a week at the Jersey Shore. Easy walk to the beach which allows swimming, surfing and body boarding. Just across the street is anything you can think you may need while on vacation, such as a CVS, a bank, an ACME grocery store, an arcade, an ice cream store, 3 restaurants (pizza, italian and american breakfast/lunch), a small department store, a liquor store and a very low key bar (1.5 blocks away) Plenty of parking with a 2 car garage and two spots out front on driveway, plus ample street parking. This is the first year we are renting the home. We have owned it for 20 plus years and it is in great shape, with a new modern kitchen, new ac/heat, new hot water heater, fans in every bed room, pull out couch and two sun decks on front. The deck on the second floor is is ideal for tanning.

Outside shower is semi private closed area with fenced back yard. The beach is one of the largest in Sea Isle from sand dunes to water, it is probably 75 feet (better than most beaches in jersey but not as ridiculous as wildwood)

35 minutes to Atlantic City and 30 minutes to Cape May

Rental Rules:

1. Smoking is NOT allowed OR Smoking is allowed outside only.

2. People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.

3. All of the units are privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

4. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order

5. Only use appliances for their intended uses.

6. Pets are NOT allowed.

7. No PARTIES.

8. You are responsible for garbage. Trash days are Monday and Thursday. Any trash remaining shall be brought to the dump at the jfk bridge.

12. Storms:

Option A: If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless:

• The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a 'Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area' and/or

• A 'mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning' area of residence of a vacationing guest.

• The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a 'Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning,' area, we will refund:

-Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered;

-Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and

-Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the 'Hurricane Warning' period.

Option B: No refunds will be given for storms. [Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. Gravel drives are well maintained; however, we highly recommend four wheel drive and/or chains during the snow months. We do not refund due to road conditions.]

Sept. weekend

The house was amazing! It was exactly described on home away.com
It was located close to the CVS and Acme it was not the center of town
but that's what we didn't want and it was perfect. Just 1 block to the beach.

Everything was very clean and well kept. There was lots of room.
The owners were very nice and if we needed anything they were
a sphone call away.

I would recommend this place to anyone and would rent it again
next year!!!!!!

Summer vacation

This rental was amazing! The house is exactly as described on homeaway.com.
The location was so convenient, with CVS and the supermarket right next door. There is also restaurants and I've cream places right there! With sea isles new jitney it was easy access to everything in the center of town.

The beach is such a short walk away and the 61st beach was much less crowded then any other street we have stayed in the past.

Everything was very clean and well kept. There was lots of room
For visitors and my family. The beds were are very comfortable and clean.

I can not say enough good things about the owners. Whenever we needed anything or had any questions they were a phone call away.

I would rent this place next summer and recommend it to anyone!

Clean, quiet, but a bit far.

The house was clean, well maintained, and appeared as advertised. Bill, the owner, made himself available through phone, email, and text to answer any questions prior to our arrival. He allowed us to pick up the key the night before, which saved a lot of hassle. The house was large. We were able to hang out without being on top of one another. The kitchen was beautiful. The tv has cable and is in HD. Almost everything is provided. The house is located directly across the street from a small shopping center with an Acme, a CVS, and an Italian restaurant called Uncle Oogie's. Directly behind the shopping center is a park with basketball courts, tennis courts, and some other things.

The house is a little over a mile away from the promenade and the popular bars of Landis Ave, which are all located near 40th St. Sea Isle City now has a jitney service which will pick you up right from the house (you have to flag it down as it passes) and take you down Landis Ave for $2-$4. However, during off-season it only runs on weekends, so we were forced to walk. The distance isn't huge, however if the weather is very hot or you have older people in your group it may be a concern. Taxis are not readily available in this area, especially during the week.
If you are not interested in the promenade, the house is a 2 minute walk to the beach entrance on 62nd St.

There were a few minor negatives in addition to the distance to the promenade. The picture of the front of the house does not include the relatively steep incline from the street to the driveway. I scraped my front bumper on the end of the driveway almost every single time I pulled in or backed out. I imagine if you drove a SUV or something that rides a bit higher it wouldn't be a problem. The house has a garage, however the owner seemed a bit reluctant to share the code. We ended up parking our second car in the street in front of the house. I should say that the owner was very nice and would have given us the code if we had said that we really needed it. Also, the advertised wi-fi stopped working on the first day. This wasn't the owners fault, but when we informed him in the first half of our trip that it wasn't working properly, we were hoping that he would send out Comcast to fix it. He didn't, which upset my friends, who had planned activities based around having internet access.

Overall it was a good experience and I would happily rent this home again if I were to stay in Sea Isle.

Owner's Response: With the new shuttles offered in Sea Isle now, you are far away from the bars and noise and a quick 5 minute ride on the shuttle for a small fee, if you don't feel like walking the 1.1 mile to the bars...

The condo is located on the beach side of Landis avenue, therefore a less than 1 block walk to the beach. Across the street is everything you need, CVS, a bank, liquor store, Acme grocery, small department store, an arcade, ice cream shop, 3 restaurants. You could essentially park the car and walk everywhere. This property is located 4 blocks from the start of the promenade, (stores don't begin until 43rd st), 1.1 miles to city center and various restaurants and bars, 2 blocks east of recreation center and park with tennis, hockey and soccer fields, and a gas station.
