The Sieber home sits on Lake Rescue, just 3 miles from Jackson Gore at Okemo. Cherry hardwood floors and fieldstone fireplace give this home a real cozy atmosphere for gathering with friends and family. Recently updated and very neat and clean. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, sleep up to 9. Enjoy the hot tub and fireplace after a day of skiing, or watch the sunset on the deck overlooking the lake. Lots of activity in the summer,. Plenty of sailboats and water skiers, as well as quiet canoe goers and brightly colored Kayaks can be seen throughout the lazy days of summer. Grill on the deck. Owner has maintained and updated the property over the years making it comfortable and modern. WIFI and cable TV/ DVD.

This is a perfect home for a peaceful, relaxing vacation, with the convenience of town just a couple miles away!

THE LAKE:

The house gets incredible morning sun as it makes it way up and over the mountains that the house faces. It’s so nice that you just have to grab a paper and sit on the deck with your sun glasses on! That direct sun last until about 2:30 in the summer and then the house starts to block the sun from hitting the deck (around 3:30 in the summer solstice time frame).

However, the floating dock that is connected to the bulk head has a ‘bridge’ that extends out in to the lake by about 24 feet that gets sun the remainder of the afternoon and is incredible for sunbathing, swimming, sitting in lawn chairs and blankets. The deck is new mahogany and very nice with a swim ladder, etc.

The depth of the lake starts off at about 3 feet deep directly off the bulk ahead and drops off on a angle that’s fairly steep so that it a good 12’ to 15’ deep when you dive off the diving board and even deeper off of the floating dock. It’s also about 12 feet deep in the area when you go off the rope swing which is on the other side of the property.

Excellent Stay Despite Weather

Place was clean and ready to go for our group upon arrival. Weather during our stay was less than desirable with some rain, but we were still able to enjoy the lake and the large porch. Requested an earlier arrival and later departure to maximize our time at the house. It was very easy and delightful dealing with the property manager and we were allowed to arrive early and leave later without any conflict to another reservation. Would absolutely stay again!
