Our beautiful mill is on the banks of the River Charente in the small market town of Civray.. We have two properties to rent: The Mill and the Mill House apartment. 1 . The Mill is entered from the street. You come straight into a 60m2 room which is a kitchen, lounge, dining room. Because of the thick walls of the mill this rooms is cool in summer. There is seating both on comfy chairs and at the table for 6 people, We provide Sky Free to view tv, videos, DVD club membership, board games and books for your entertainment. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, and the other larger room can take four beds. Please let us know how many you require. There are two bathrooms. 2. The Mill house apartment is just next door. It has two large bedrooms, a sitting room and the same facilities as the Mill. Both properties have access to the Mill garden which is an island 100metres x 40 metres. There is an above ground swimming pool, a large trampoline, B

The Mill house is entered from the street and is available all the year round. It is ideal for those looking for a property to buy, and lovely for a relaxing holiday. The Mill apartment is available in August for holidays, sharing the Mill garden and swimming pool. It has two large bedrooms and a large sitting room. It is on the ground floor and has a large balcony overlooking the river.

Situated on the Charente river Civray is a market town with a population of about 3000. Ideally set in the heart of the Poitou Charentes region, 45 minutes away from Poitiers, the Futuroscope park, Niort and Angouleme and Limoges. The area is still a vibrant community and offers visitors a friendly welcome and a wide range of leisure activities: canoeing, riding, rambling, watersports, leisure centres and riving fishing. La Vallee des Singes is only 15 minutes away where you can see an amazing selection of monkeys roaming free! The Atlantic Coast is an hour and half away, where you can enjoy the surf or dine out at fantastic seafood restaurants in La Rochelle. The region is steeped in culture and history and also has a wide range of local gastronomy. The local shops and amenities are within a 5 minute WALK!

Our aim is to give you an excellent, stress free environment to enjoy yourselves. The apartment is an ideal possibility if you are looking to purchase in France and wish a cheaper, convenient place to stay. We live in the mill and speak French and are able to help with all enquired. Please contact us. A computer is available in the main house, and there is an internet café in town which is run by British people. It is in the Art complex - the new gallery.
