House, 4 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 2-10) with mattress

Come and enjoy the peace and quiet of lake living at 'Saunderosa' this beautiful three level home; over 3800 square foot, which is fully furnished/equipped and surrounded by large shade trees with private water frontage with a brand new dock, brand new deck off living area, and patio areas that offer both sun & shade. It has all the entertainment you will need both inside and out.With the 3 level floor plan easily accomodates multiple families. It is located in a private cul-de-sac, inside an airpark community with a private strip making this area very eclectic and charming.

The main level has an open airy feel. The fully equipped kitchen is ready and waiting to prepare any meal you would like. The dining room has a very large table enough to accommodate 8 people with exquisite view of lake, along with the kitchen bar that has 3 additional stools, this flows into the living area that has a vaulted ceiling and stone fireplace, which burns real wood, and a 55' flat screen TV with a blueray player for your favorite movies. Lots of dvd's there or bring your favorites! This room also has two large patio doors that open onto a raised deck overlooking the bottom deck and hot tub area. Both decks have the same gorgeous view of lake. Also on side yard lots of grass you can enjoy, crochet, horseshoes, badmitton....bring your bikes lots of great trails nearby in State Park or bike in neighborhood. There is a basketball hoop and room to have a game with friends and family.

The upper level of house is where the luxurious master suite is which offers another wood fireplace. A 46 inch flat screen tv above fireplace mantel. The master bath has a garden tub and a standing shower with seperate dressing area and double vanity sinks with granite counters. Then there is a loft which is the perfect place for peace and quiet to get work done or enjoy a book.

Then enjoy our nostalgic lower level GAME ROOM complete with a full bar, pool table, poker table & chips, dart board and brand new pacman cocktail table & golf video game. We have a table set up for those who love puzzles and card games. Something for EVERYONE! This level also has a bedroom with beautiful lake view and full bath. And just in case you are having to much fun and feel guilty, there is a workout room. The bottom level then opens out onto a brand new sun deck , all new patio furniture to relax, hang out, view the lake or read that favorite book,. There's a new grill area and fantastic hot tub overlooking the lake.

Bring your own boat or jet skis, there is boat launching nearby. We have DEEP WATER year round so no worries on a dry cove. Or you can rent a boat by the day or week, CS Rentals of LN, Lake Norman Marine & others specialize in pontoon or jet ski rentals. Local rental companies will deliver to our dock. Perfect for those who want to wake up and jump on their boat for a day of fun on Lake Norman. The dock area also has the perfect little lakeside screened in gazebo where you can play games and enjoy your favorite 'beverage'. If you dont want to boat, you can always fish, swim or float in this cozy and safe cove, or even rent a kayak. We're told the fishing is fantastic right off dock!

So we invite you and your family to enjoy and create wonderful memories here where you have everything you need. We provide premium /luxury bed linens, down comforters with duvets on top of brand new Foster Stearns Mattresses, towels for 8/10 people. Your comfy beds are made up and waiting for you to arrive and enjoy. We supply your initial start up of papergoods, toilet paper, soaps, and papertowels. Also if you don't have time or want to deal with grocery shopping, email me a prepared list of what you would like to have stocked and I will have it there waiting for you for an extra fee. Lake Norman has over 500 miles of shoreline and offers excitement for all ages - cruises, restaurants accessible by boat, Waterskiing, jet skiiing, wind surfing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, Queens Landing is nearby which features dining cruises, rentals of watercrafts, putt putt golf course and tennis. Lake Norman State Park offers hiking/walking, biking, picnic areas, lake swimming. We are by protected areas for great skiing, waterboarding & tubing. The islands nearby have sandy beaches good for anchoring & swimming. Good for wadding for children. Close to: Mooresville (Race City) approx 7 miles away offers shopping, restaurants, museums and movies. YMCA Gym. Has Super Target & Walmart in Mooresville along with large chain restaurants. Then there is Discovery Place, Lazy 5 Ranch, Carowinds Amusement & Waterpark Park, USA Whitewater Rafting Center in Charlotte approx 45 minutes away. Billy Graham Library, N. Carolina Racing Hall of Fame. Davidson and Cornelius are great towns that has shopping boutiques, historic sites/museums and tours, antique shopping, Jetton park for walking trails. An absolutely beautiful house with everything you need no matter what time of year you stay. (I especially appreciated the classic arcade table with all the awesome games from the 1980's!!) My daughters and I actually felt at home! We hope to make it back to stay every year. Wonderful people to deal with!! Got back to me right away and even had waters and a bottle of wine waiting:) Highly recommend!

First time at the Lake

This was our first time staying at the lake so I wasn't sure what to expect...Saunderosa has something for everyone. My husband enjoyed playing pool and darts, The kids 6 and 12 enjoyed the Ms. Pac Man game. The Jacuzzi ( mom's favorite thing!) and relaxing two story decks were awesome. The house was so clean, kitchen was well equipped. We didn't leave the house the entire weekend.I had some family from Charlotte join us that Saturday for a barbeque and the house is perfect for entertaining, fishing or just relaxing. The only thing we didn't like was having to leave. We will be back!!!! Toni and Kelly were awesome to work with...Thanks for making out first lake trip an awesome success!!!!

exceeded our expectations

We stayed at this property for a week. We all were impressed with how clean and organized the house was. The view of the lake is gorgeous and the deck and hot tub were just what we needed. My boys enjoyed the game room and pool table. They also played basketball. We would love to return when the weather is warmer. We rented a boat for a day to see the scenery from the lake. The kitchen was perfect. We loved being able to cook or eat out...wonderful property. If you're not used to stairs, they can be a challenge. But we left in better "shape" than when we arrived.

Anniversary Week-end

My wife and I enjoyed a relaxing anniversary week-end at Saunderosa and appreciated the added touches of wine and flowers awaiting our arrival. What a great added treat! Having been married in March, we did not have the opportunity to get out on the lake due to the chill in the air but I bet Saunderosa is a blast in the summer. Our trip was largely comprised of lounging, naps and relaxing in the hot tub which was exactly what we were looking for. But we did get out and find the greatest prime rib dinner known to mankind at Lineberger’s Cattle Company. The bottom line is Saunderosa is exactly as advertised; spacious and well-appointed. The owners are easy to work with and were in regular communication leading up to our stay. We live relatively locally and my wife is already considering another stay at Saunderosa with extended family.

The perfect getaway

My wife and I visit last weekend just to get away from our busy schedules. The drive was a little tricky with some wintery mix but it was well worth it. I was amazed at how clean this place was and the pictures don't do justice to how nice it is. The kitchen is fully stocked, the deck is massive and appears brand new, the basement with pool table, video games, and bar are perfect for entertaining, the hot tub was perfect for a cold night, and the wood burning fireplace sets a relaxing mood. The owners left us a small complimentary bottle of wine and some muffins and were terrific to deal with. The area is great because the house is secluded but Mooresville is only about a 15 min drive to anything you'll need. My only complaint is I had to leave such a great review I am worried it will be rented next time I want to visit. We hope to make it back one summer to enjoy all the lake has to offer. It has 4 wonderful bedrooms and three bathrooms. If your searching for a place to rent your search is over!!
