Handcrafted log home within walking distance to one of the nicest lakes in Michigan. Elk Lake is a crystal clear lake that extends into the town of Elk Rapids and is connected by a canal to Torch Lake. Elk lake and Torch lake are great for swimming and boating.

My home backs up to Whitewater twp park, a 200 acre nature preserve, with about 1500 ft frontage on Elk Lake. The park has a nice beach, boat launch, pavillion, barbecue grills, picnic tables and some playground equipment for kids. The park also has a few miles of moutain biking trails. If your looking for peace and quiet, but still close to everything than you found the place.

Other things close to my house, Turtle Creek Casino, Elk Rapids(great fireworks on the 4th), Horse Show By The Bay, Grand Traverse Resort /Golf course, wine tasting.

If your into casino's. Turtle Creek Casino is a brand new 88 million dollar facility that has three restuants and one night club.

Close to Traverse City and close to Elk Rapids-minutes to each.
Wide open floor plan and lots of room for everybody. Pet friendly lots of room for them to run around on the park trails not too far from house. Very private and quiet. We will stay there again for sure.
