We welcome you to relax and enjoy the perfect woodland retreat. This fantastic log cabin, nestled in the pines of southern Maine, is just 4 miles from downtown Ogunquit.
The spacious home has plenty of room for friends and family, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Cook up a fantastic meal in the well-appointed Chef's kitchen -- served in the skylit dining room (seats 14).
Relaxation comes with comfort -- enjoy central air for the occasional muggy summer day, watch a movie on the large flatscreen tv, or warm up by the fieldstone fireplace or in the hot tub.
The cabin has a wrap around porch for all day enjoyment -- with rockers for relaxing in the morning, a large teak table for afternoon cookouts, and a closet full of games for the evening.
When you need a break from relaxing and lounging around, there are all kinds of activities within a couple of miles from your home… From mini-golf and water parks, to the miles and miles of great beaches with sailing, boating, and jet skis. And for the more adventurous, nearby skiing and Acadia National Park offer trails for thrilling downhill, challenging cross-country, and serene hiking.
The quaint seacoast towns of nearby Kennebunk, Portland, Portsmouth, York, Wells, Booth Bay, and Camden all offer unique shopping along with fantastic restaurants and cafes to enjoy all kinds of cuisine (including some of New England's best seafood).
Get ready for an amazing stay!
We are the second owners of this home and we love our home and look forward to sharing it with you.

This beautiful log home was perfect for our "girls' weekend." We enjoyed cooking in the well-appointed kitchen, relaxing in the hot tub and the living room, and the bright and cheery dining room. Close to shopping and the Marginal Way, it was perfect for a springtime visit (but would be even more amazing in the summer).
We had a wonderful time staying here in Ogunquit for a long weekend in January. We spent a lot of time in front of the fireplace in the spacious living room, and also enjoyed the natural light in the dining room. The kitchen was modern and well-stocked. We did a cliff walk in Ogunquit and took day trips north to Portland and Freeport. Definitely recommend!
The house has lots of options to spread out for a large family or group. The kitchen is fantastic with great appliances & every gadget we could possibly need. We enjoyed hanging out by the fireplace, and the hot tub was also great for the brave ones for a Dec. stay. It would be fun to come during the summer when the pool is open. Great location, just a short drive to town and beach. We definitely recommend this rental and would come back again.
What a wonderful property! All the conveniences of home - quite literally. Although guests bring their own food, everything else is already there for you. And, if you forget something or just need to use a little of something like spices, soap, or aspirin, it's also there for you. The pantry is fully stocked with dry and canned goods in case you "need it now" - they just ask that you replace it before you leave. No worries about sheets, towels, even movies to watch if you like! Clearly, guests appreciate this easy-stay and pay it forward by leaving the house even better stocked than when they arrived.
The location is in the woods, but not all that isolated. Getting to it takes a little time as the nearest Interstate exits are several miles away both north and south, and winding back-roads must be traveled. But, that lends a lot to the charm of the setting. Quiet and restful.
We used the kitchen to prepare two major meals of boiled lobster (of course) which we bought super-fresh in Perkin's Cove. The nearest supermarket is about 30 minutes away in normal traffic, so you may want to plan ahead and pick up fresh food items (like we did our corn, bread, and salad greens) while you're on US Route 1 after shopping. We had every dish, wine glass, and eating utensil - including crackers - that we needed to have some incredible meals without having to go to a restaurant. (We did go to restaurants, of course - and they were fabulous.)
Ogunquit is about 15 minutes away down a single road that takes you straight to the main shopping square. We went at off-peak as the season was winding down, but it was still a busy and active place! Fun shopping, dining, and beautiful photo opportunities - especially along the Marginal Way. We even took in a musical the Ogunquit Playhouse, and it was top-notch!
Only three things detracted from our stay, and they were minor:
1) The Internet connection was not working because the bill had not been paid. This was reported on the first day but was not corrected during our 4-day stay.
2) The power went out on the morning of the 3rd day and was out for about 4 hours, affecting several towns. The manager was quick to find out details for us, so we knew it would be repaired that afternoon.
3) The spa was a little slimy, but we shocked it ourselves and it was fine in 12 hours.
We're already planning to return soon and bring some additional friends with us - there's plenty of room in this cabin.
I recently spent a weekend here with a group of girls, and we had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home. It has an authentic log cabin feel with updated/modern kitchen and bathrooms, making it a nice cross between rustic and luxurious. The kitchen was very well-appointed for cooking and the dining room was quite large and accommodated our group meals. We took full advantage of the hot tub, which was in great condition and offered a beautiful view of the stars at night.
The location is nice- very quiet and nestled in the woods but yet a short drive to downtown Ogunquit.
We will definitely be back!
My family stayed at this wonderful house during the first weekend in October 2014. The hosts were very accommodating from day 1 -- they helped us manage the reservation/payment as well as provided detailed information about the property and a chance to contact them during our stay.
The house is BEAUTIFUL. We hosted my mother's 70th bday party and were proud to have such a nice place to show off to her friends and family.
Our children were right at home and enjoyed the many amenities.
We couldn't be more pleased with our choice and we weren't disappointed by any aspect.
There are many activities/ attractions within a short drive from the cabin. There is mini-golfing, sailing, boating, jet skis, water parks, and of course, miles and miles of beaches. Great tourist towns of Kennebunk, Portland, Portsmouth, York, Wells, etc. are just short drives away. There are larger ventures for skiing and national parks including Acadia and the amazing towns of Booth Bay, Camden, etc.
