GEORGIOUS WATERFRONT VACATION HOME

The house is very accommodating and had everything I needed and much much more! We caught about three dozen blue crabs off the dock and lots of local fish including flounder. We had a blast steaming the blue crabs and eating them in the screened in porch watching the sunset. The sunsets are absolutely breathtaking! I would recommend this vacation home to anyone who wants to press the pause button on their hectic life and allow mother nature to cleanse their soul. The location is remote and peaceful, but has all the amenities of modern life (ie satellite tv, high speed internet & wi-fi, kayaks, modern master bath). The owners were very thoughtful and even checked up on us to make sure we were enjoying our stay. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. This waterfront home is the perfect getaway from city life!

First and foremost, it was a pleasure to deal with owners who were very professional and accommodating in every regard. From providing Virginia fishing regulations to a last minute arrival request any questions we had were addressed in a timely manner.
The property was clean, well maintained, comfortable, and the owners generously made the galley stock available for our use. Everything worked and was located where and as described. A pleasent surprise were the two kayaks that appeared to be in like new condition.
I would, without hesitation, reccomend this property to be enjoyed by anyone looking for a relaxing vacation. The pace of life is slower on the Eastern Shore but the days go by entirely too fast and will have you looking forward to your next visit.

This is a nice, quiet spot "off the beaten path," so to speak, so if you are looking for a good get-away, this is a good place. This is a home, not a high-end rental, so it is comfortable, cozy, has everything you need, but not a lot of "fluff." We enjoyed watching the sunsets, the boats coming in and out of the bay, feeding and watching birds, and watching the funny crabs fight over the chicken we fed them. Hardly saw another soul anywhere nearby. It is a relatively easy jaunt (~15-20 minutes) to get groceries. Went to Assateague for the day and it was an easy drive, too. Does have great picture windows, but curtains on the one in the master bedroom would be nice. We wanted to sleep in a couple of days, but that bedroom gets so much natural light, we were up with the sun. Owners were very easy to work with and gave us lots of good area information.
