Located Rue Michel Lecomte, in the Marais's heart, on the 2nd floor of a 15th century historical building, this renovated apartment is approx. 440 sq/ft with high ceiling, 3 tall windows overlooking a beautifull and quiet courtyard.
The apartment is furnished with a king size bed, bar table & chairs, flat screen TV. In the kitchen there are two cooking plates, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, dish-washer, wine glasses and all cooking utensils.
Originally built in the 15th century the Hostel of the Bear and the Lion, was converted into a mansion during the 16th century by the Lords of Rocquencourt, then in the 17th century it was the house of King Henry IV intendant of finances, ...
Great location near great bars, restaurants, neighborhood hangouts. Easy access to the metro. Yael was very charming and very helpful. She met all of our requests and needs promptly. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The apartment and location were perfect, the owner very gracious and helpful. We would definitely recommend this property! It was comfortable, had all the amenties we needed, and we felt very much at home. It was quiet and clean and just the perfect place for our stay in Paris!
This is a lovely apartment in an extremely convenient and interesting district of Paris. Located on the first floor in a relatively quiet street with the windows facing the courtyard, the apartment is very quiet at night. It is extremely clean and well provisioned with a very generous bathroom and a comfortable bed. But a very big shout out has to go to Yael, the gorgeous manager of the property who was so lovely - right from the time of making the booking, to meeting me upon arrival, and then very kindly assisting me during my stay as I was quite unwell at that point unfortunately. Thank you Yael!! xx
We had a very pleasant stay at this property. I would definitely recommend it. It served us well. It is in a central neighborhood. The location is near the metro and within walking distance to the river.
The description is mostly accurate. The room is spacious and pleasant. It was clean and appeared to be very well maintained. Nice shower. Good heating system. Reasonable Wifi. Easy access.
Although we had a frustrating start after arriving in Paris very early morning due to an extended delay in our flight and didn't have immidiate access to the apartment, Yael was a graciuse host and offered a setesfying solution. Thank you Yael!!
Highly recomended. You will like it!!
The property was certainly as good as the description. It was spotlessly clean and very well maintained with no sign of wear and tear. The bed was extremely comfortable, good linens and towels. The service provided by Yael and David went above and beyond what could reasonably have been expected, including helping us find lost property and printing out directions for buses and metros. We would certainly recommend this property without reservation to anyone looking for a perfect place to stay in Paris. The location is very central (round the corner from the Pompidou Center), with easy access to the metro (Rambuteau). There are great patisseries, boulangeries and grocery stores in easy walking distance and lots of restaurants. A great place to stay and one we hope to return to soon.
The property is lovely and its amenities great. It's the perfect size for a couple and the location couldn't be better. Yael was so helpful, warm and friendly. We really couldn't have asked for a better flat and we will definitely be back!
Building history: originaly founded in the 15th century the Hostel of the Bear and the Lion, was converted into a mansion during the 16th century by the Lords of Rocquencourt, then in the 17th century it was the house of King Henry IV intendant of finances, ... also there's engraved on the facade a vertical declining sundial of the afternoon.
This is probably the oldest dated sundial in the City of Paris: The year 1623 is inscribed in good condition and it is visible from the courtyard of the building.
Today the Marais is a trendy area in Paris known for its nightlife, restaurants, theaters, cafés, bars & terraces !
It is now also famous for the fashion boutiques on rue des Francs Bourgeois, art galleries, interior design and antics furnishing stores.
It is close to many places like the Beaubourg/Pompidou center and the Halles (2 minutes walk), Notre Dame Cathedral in the historic Ile de la Cité (10 minutes walk), place des Vosges (10 minutes walk), the famous Louvre museum is about 20 minutes walk by the Rue de Rivoli ....
