The moment we first opened the door we knew we were going to have a great vacation! The house is immaculate, with gorgeous detail throughout. The Kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas are perfect. Our family loved it, our teenage girls and four year old didn’t want to leave. It is not easy to impress teenage girls and yet we had to drag them out of the house each day because they loved the home so much. The girls had their own space the stretch out and relax after days at Disneyland, California Adventure, whale watching and the beach.
Each room is thoughtfully and tastefully decorated, warm and inviting with a great beach vibe. The kitchen is incredibly beautiful; we made some great meals and memories in the kitchen and front porch area. Several “big” flat screen televisions throughout the home allowed for a wonderful movie night and choices as to where to sit together to watch it. The Master Suite is remarkable, with a fireplace, large jetted tub and steam shower, the Master Suite is the size of a hotel room all by itself! The upstairs loft is stunning and spacious with a gorgeous balcony view of the ocean. Three “living rooms” provided plenty of space to talk and play with our children and connect as a family.
The home owner provided all the “extras” needed to ensure our vacation was magical. The home came stocked with beach cruiser bicycles (we used several times and had a blast riding them), beach chairs, and a wagon for our four year old to ride in on our walks around Huntington Beach and boogie boards for some wave riding.
The neighborhood is beautiful and within walking distance to Main Street, restaurants, shopping, the beach and pier. The neighbors are warm and friendly and we truly enjoyed visiting with them in the mornings, we will miss them and look forward to seeing them again.
The pictures posted are amazing but they didn't even do it justice. That's how amazing this place is. WOW!
The communication with the owner was great. They provided quick responses and answered all of our questions promptly.
We have never rented a home before on vacation, and I can honestly tell you we will never vacation in a hotel again! We have already started talking about our next vacation to Huntington Beach, and planning it around the availability of the home on Chicago Avenue. We had such a wonderful time together as a family, and we all loved the home so much that we hated to leave.
