ST. MARGARET'S BAY 4BR HAVEN IN PRIME SAILING COMMUNITY IN HUBBARDS.

This St. Margaret's Bay Historic Cottage is located on the south shore of Nova Scotia in the prime sailing community on St Margaret's Bay and a short 45 km from the province's capital city of Halifax. Situated on the waterfront in Hubbards with a fabulous view of St. Margaret's Bay.

Seaside Haven features a newly renovated kitchen, large breakfast room, dining room and living room, a half bath and laundry room on the main floor. Upstairs are four (4) roomy bedrooms (1 Double, 1 Queen and two (2) full bedrooms) and a new full bath.

Enjoy the large waterfront veranda on the front and a deck on the side. The surrounding yard has lovely perennial gardens.

Hubbards is a beautiful small seaside village located on St Margaret's Bay in the center of Nova Scotia' s famed lighthouse route. The town has a charming harbor used by small fishing, and leisure boats in the summer. Numerous scenic drives can be taken along the ocean bordering St Margaret's Bay, including a trip to Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, and the famed sailing village of Chester.

Only a 10 minute walk to the Trellis Cafe, Loblaws Grocery Store, Home Hardware, Pharmacy and Aspotagan hiking/walking/biking trail. Close to many beaches in the area.Visit Peggy's Cove or the UNESCO Heritage Lunenburg & Mahone Bay about 30 minutes away. Seaside golf course in Chester is only 15 minutes and the downtown city of Halifax offering lots of activities, dining, shopping & festivals a 30 minute drive.

Enjoy fresh Atlantic Seafood (famous lobster pound only 2 minutes away), or a lobster supper at the Shore Club 5 minutes.

Reservation Deposit:
A reservation deposit of $500 + $55 for the Security Deposit Waiver Fee is required to make the reservation.

Final Payment:
The final payment of the remaining rental fee is due 90 days prior to your arrival. Upon final payment we will e-mail you a confirmation and detailed directions to your property and where the key location is on site. Your arrival to the property is at your convenience after 3PM. Upon departure by 10AM, we request that you return the key to the same location.

Last Minute Rentals:
Reservations made within 90 days of arrival require the full payment.

Method of Payment:
Payments may be made by Visa, MasterCard, money transfer or Canadian cheque.

Security Deposit Waiver Fee:
We require a $55 non-refundable Security Deposit Waiver fee for all reservations in lieu of charging you an additional security deposit fee of $500. to the property rental rate. T
Cancellation Policy:
The Guest acknowledges that because of the short rental season in Nova Scotia, they are buying the time available in the property and they own that time slot. In the event the Guest cancels their reservation before 90 days prior to occupancy and after a deposit has been made, $250 shall be forfeited from the $500 Reservation Deposit. More than 30 days, but less than 90 days before the check-in date, 75% of the total rental fee is forfeited, 30 days or less before the check-in date, 100% of the total rental fee is forfeited, unless the property can be rented by the Cottage Connection in Nova Scotia Ltd. on the same or better terms and conditions. The Guest agrees to pay the total rental as shown above on this Rental Agreement by or before the due dates.
