A beautiful large villa with adjacent cottage, set in 2 acres of grounds with its own salt water pool, the pool is a private area with sun loungers and some shade, and is heated by solar panels keeping the water constantly warm throughout the summer. There are many areas to relax and be private in. A roof terrace to watch the sun rise and sun set, or practice your sun salutations, a shady area with seats and table to dine al fresco, a large BBQ area close to the pool. The cottage has its own outside private eating area. Tennis court with a practice wall for those keen to be a little active.There is a large games room with a pub size pool table, table tennis and table football. The farmhouse is 500m from Santa Barbara De Nexe with all its facilities of bars, mini supermarket, bakery, bank, post office and restaurants. Quinta Branca is an ideal destination for a relaxing holiday with family and/or friends with aplenty of space to be with others or to escape from everyone and read.

Quinta Branca is close to the village of St.Barbara with its facilities of restaurants,bank,post office, mini supermarket and a great bakery for a morning coffee with cake or your daily bread and to Faro airport which is a 10 minute drive directly north of Faro. The aeroplanes cannot be heard from our villa as they take off and land along the coastline.The villa is ideally located for the beach at Faro where there is kite/wind surfing, swimming and sand castle building. There are numerous golf courses within easy driving distance. The popular town of Loule with its Moorish market is 8 minutes away where you can buy your fresh fruit,vegetables,fish and meat. Algarve shopping forum is 10 minutes this boosts a pleasant outdoor shopping area with many high street shops some familiar if you feel the need for some retai lherapy while on holiday. For the younger members of the party Zoo Marime is 25 minutes away where you can watch dolphins perform.

Notes: The private pool is 10 x 5 metres and has a natural salt treatment, which is softer on the skin and eyes. The pool is solar heated and the temperature is kept at a beautiful warmth throughout the summer. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, with an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, the washing machine is in a laundry room, The cottage is completely self contained with a private BBQ and eating area. The games room has a pub size pool table, table tennis and table football for the guests use. There is plenty of room to park cars. The garden is walled, fenced and gated. There is a roof terrace with far reaching views to Faro and the coastline. The villa is easily walkable to the village {500m} to sample some of the bars and restaurants. Both houses are no smoking inside.

when we arrived at the quinta we were pleasantly amazed at how much better it was than we expected.
lots of spacious clean rooms to relax in.all well maintained decorated in portuguese style.everthing we needed was available .fabulous views -an oasis of calm and tranquility.fabulous location for chilling out-you can walk to the village and once you have stocked up with groceries you do nt need to go anywhere.if you hire a car then you can explore the area .i would highly reccomend this property and the owner who made our holiday so perfect.cannot wait to return next year

Can I say a few words of thanks for the perfect setting and subsequent relaxing holiday that we all enjoyed.We all found a spot to enjoy the sun or shade to enjoy the silence.The tennis court was used as well as the pool, infact I have to say the pool was the most used of all the pools that I have encountered in our visits to Portugal. In the whole time we were at the villa the pool was in constant use,either with someone trying to keep cool or to keep fit, by timing the amount of lengths they could swim in a set time.The fact that between us there were 17 books read has to be a testimony to the relaxed atmosphere we found.

Both the Quinta and the cottage were delightful in there own right and the number of different eating places meant that the days were never the same. In fact the piggery was the night time entertainment centre with various games being played after the evening meal had been consumed.
We often sat at night watching the darkness take over from the day on the top veranda, enjoying the fantastic sunsets and the special vista down to the sea and Faro.

In conclusion I would again thank you on behalf of the entire party for allowing us to share this special place of yours.
