This private villa is ideal for one or two couples who would like to enjoy the natural beauty of this quieter 'quartier' of St. Barths. The two bedroom villa with a large terrace and plunge pool is built partway up the mountain, overlooking one of the more beautiful beaches of St. Barths. In addition to sea views from every room, several lovely outdoor sitting areas offer the shade of wooden porticos dripping with bougainvillea for dining or relaxing while enjoying the sea and the gentle breezes. Recently renovated, this villa is an exceptional marriage of modern amenities and traditional West Indies architecture and charm. A new mahogany and stainless steel American kitchen, new bathroom, new comfortable furniture and air conditioned bedrooms with a bright, modern decor create a refreshing ambiance in this twenty year old impeccable maintained villa. Airport pick-up, laundry, cleaning included. The attentive caretaker misses no details to enhance your stay.

Nearest Beach: beach at 50.0 Metres
Steps from the beach, Maison Rose overlooks the Toiny Beach, one of the quietest yet most beautiful beaches on St. Barths. With breathtaking views of the sea, you can watch the surfers through the telescope on the terrace or from the plunge pool. Those who like to walk, hike or run find Toniy to be ideal, with little traffic and a nice road and mountain trails to walk. Other favourite beaches, Saline, Gouverneur and Grand Cul de Sac are a short drive. The five star restaurant Le Gaiac, located in the Hotel Toiny, is a short walk from the villa. Tennis courts and water sport rentals are a three minute drive from the villa in Grand Cul de Sac. The airport, St. Jean and Gustavia, the main town, are each a fifteen minute drive from Maison Rose. This quartier of the island has an untouched, native, and less developed feel than other parts of the island. Neighbouring houses can not be seen, with foliage, flowering landscaping and various elevations due to the mountainous setting.

  • The master bath is done in terracotta tile with West Indies style custom design, an enclosed shower with a small window which overlooks the Toiny beach and the sea. The second bathroom was just renovated, with custom cabinetry and modern European fixtures of the highest hotel quality. The shower wall can be opened to the terrace, allowing you to shower partially outside if you like.

  • Each bedroom has lovely dark wood large double beds with white, freshly ironed cotton bedding and attached bathrooms. The master bedroom has an attached office and private back terrace with a hammock for resting. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned, have high vaulted ceilings and views of the sea. Nicely-sized closets as well as dressers in each bedroom hold belongings. Lighting is ample for reading on either side of the bed. The second bedroom has a newly renovated bathroom, and new dark wood floors; the master has warm terracotta tile floors.
