Nature's dream is a beautifully decorated premium luxury vacation home
Nestled on a gorgeous wooded one-acre hillside in the heart of wears valley. Centrally located between pigeon forge, townsend, and gatlinburg, it is just minutes from any of these areas even during the busiest tourist season due to its accessibility to back routes. While private and quiet with awesome mountain and valley views, it is easy to reach all year because it is just minutes off wears valley road. There is never a worry about reaching this home in inclement weather because it is on a fully maintenanced county road. No 4-wheel drive needed! The property shares a boundary with the national park. It is not unusual to see deer, raccoons, and even bears on or near the property.
The home is decorated in traditional cabin style with lodge furniture, custom bed and window treatments, wall coverings and matching accessories such as wildlife prints, wall hangings and light fixtures. All rooms are large with comfortable overstuffed furniture. The comfortable living room has a home theater with hdtv/dvd. There is a private hot tub, two levels of wrap around decks and porches with swings and rockers, full size pool table and game room, and the master bath has a jacuzzi tub.
All bedrooms have hd tvs with cable and dvd players. No satellite interruptions on vacation! Lots of cable channels and local tv stations. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare any type of meal. There is a gas grill. There is a video and book library with board games also. This luxury home has wifi internet throughout. No sulfur well water-we have city water!
Nature's dream has one owner and is the family's second home.
It is a place you can come to to just relax and not leave the property or you can take advantage of all the activities that are just minutes away. The home is clean and comfortable. It is great for families or for adults looking for a weekend away. For families interested in family reunion sites, there are additional cabins adjoining the property that could accommodate approximately 20-30
Additional guests. The properties are secluded with a great deal of safe play area for children to play between the cabins.
Our Luxury Cabin is our second home. We stay here often. Enjoy the amenities we enjoy regularly. Located beside the Park, frequently we encounter Bear, Wild Turkeys, Deer and many other visitors!
Cheri M. Adkins purchased this cabin in 2003
Great Location!!! We avoid all the crowds and go the 'back ways' to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We are located only 5 Minutes from the 'Hidden Entrance' to the National Park! We have city water (no well water-sulfur taste!) and Cable TV so no interruptions like many of the other cabins with Satellite TV.
We have a Home Theatre in the Living Room and Cable with DVD players in all 3 private Master Suites. The Hot Tub and Jacuzzi are wonderful. Our 2 Decks have 3 swings and 8 rockers which really allow you to rest and enjoy the beauty of the Smokies. If you have to check the Internet or email, Free WiFi is included! Complimentary library of over 200 movies, including kids favorites.
We have been visiting here for 10 years and, finally, we see a bear on the property. Very well behaved, wandered onto porch, checked everything out, and went on his way. Awesome experience to see.
This was SUCH a fun and perfect vacation for our family of 5, with kids ages ranging from 5 -11. Where to begin?! First, the owner Cheri is not only very professional and thorough during the entire time of trying to find and rent a cabin, but she is an incredible resource for planning your trip! Her pride in the property, and pride in the Smokey Mtns, is evident. She is full of tips and tricks to make the most of your time!
Once you arrive, you will find an incredibly well furnished and CLEAN cabin with very comfortable beds, modern amenities, and lots for everyone to do while in the cabin (lots of books, board games, pool table movies, etc). Most importantly, the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need to make meals for your family! The "main" grocery is only 8 miles away in Pigeon Forge so cooking is very easy. In our VRBO experience a good kitchen isn't always the case, but definitely the case here! The cabin is like a postcard and the views overlooking Wears Valley are wonderful. It's such a peaceful place.
The location is also absolutely PERFECT. As a family we love nothing more than hiking around the Smokey Mtn National Park, but can only take the commercialism of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg in small doses. :-) This is the best of both worlds...you are literally over the mountain from Pigeon Forge and it feels like a whole other world. The 15-20 min drive from PF leaves behind all the hub-bub and gets you in the mountains. But still close enough to do all that stuff there. You are also 5 minutes from the less known "secret" entrance to the Park. Gatlinburg is 25 mins away thru the park.
The attention to detail is the last detail I will mention (just due to the space limitations). For instance, the owners have gone above and beyond and made a phenomenal effort to give detailed back roads directions during peak travel times. They have a "book" full of activities and recommendations with contact info and how to get there. Every detail has been considered to make your trip unforgettable.
The best compliment? As we are driving away the kids ask "We are coming back here again, right?" Yes we will...and we cant wait. In the few weeks since we've been gone each one of the kids have said "I sure miss Nature's Dream". We couldn't agree more!
Our Girl Scout group (3 moms and 4 teens) arrived in the dark at Nature's Dream and were impressed by the well-appointed interior and the views from the windows in the loft, the upstairs bedroom, & in the living and dining rooms. The view was gorgeous, overlooking the lovely valley and other homes in Wears Valley or the treetops & sky. Our Girl Scouts stayed up too late the first night, saying they had never seen so many stars as they had the perfect windows to view them. The three bedrooms (2 king & 2 queen beds) & baths were plenty for our crew of 7. With the three public rooms (the loft on the 2nd floor, living room on the first floor, and game room downstairs), we had lots of room to spread out if needed. However, it was nice that the girls and moms could all hang out together with all the great games and books at the home since it was only 24 degrees outside.
We all had wi-fi devices and had no problem connecting. The service was just as fast as it is at home. There was also a book Cheri had with any and all the info you need about the area, tons of information. She really helped make our stay perfect!
When we awoke the first day, the views of the valley were lovely so we spent quite a while watching and taking it all in. Our kitchen was well stocked, with casserole dishes, a crockpot, teas, hot chocolate, sugar, oil, oatmeal and more, if we wanted. We grilled out and then played games (they had plenty for every age), took a walk around the area, and drove about 8 miles to see the Christmas Lights in Pigeon Forge. We couldn't figure out how to get the hot tub to the right temperature at first, but Cheri's go-to person answered his phone when we called Saturday afternoon and helped us troubleshoot how to get it just right. The girls loved the hot tub for about 15 minutes, but then came in shortly to play even more games.
We had a great time playing games around the coffee table next to the gas fireplace. It was so cozy for our Girls weekend! We enjoyed teas, hot chocolate, and s'mores and talked about how much our families would enjoy coming back to this cabin for a stay.
To be honest, this is the best vacation home we have ever stayed in. The owners have thought of everything. It is a great location, midway between Townsend and Pigeon Forge, just 4.5 miles (10 minutes) to Metcalf Bottoms (the shortcut to Gatlingurg)!!! We enjoyed the easy Greenbrier Schoolhouse trail on our way home. Thank you so much, Cheri and Terry!
My family reserved this Cabin for the Labor Day Weekend. It was an awesome cabin, great furnishings, beds were wonderful, kitchen was well supplied, and everything was really clean. We stayed in most of the weekend, cooked meals there, and were just pleased with everything Cheri and her family does to make this a comfortable home. We drove the back road to Cherokee Casino on Saturday, and saw a "Bear Cub" on the way. The layout of the home is perfect for spending time together, but also very roomy for your privacy. We really enjoyed the roof when we got a rain shower during the night. I could go on and on, it was just fabulous and so convenient, yet away from the bustle of the crowds. I would recommend this home to any family for a getaway. Thanks again Cheri for everything you do to make vacations memorable. We will be back soon! Gloria
What a wonderful time!
Cheri has decorated the cabin beautifully and kept it well maintained. To be honest, the best about the cabin was Cheri's professionalism and friendliness. She provided information about the area that really made our stay more enjoyable. Emails and phone calls were answered very promptly.....thank you Cheri!
LOL, we even got to experience some wildlife that we hadn't planned on and Cheri was immediate in taking care of the situation.
I will be back for sure!!!!!!
Our experience at Nature's Dream was exceptional. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The cabin is fantastic, very spacious, clean, good beds and a great view! The cabin is a few miles from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet it is easy to get to and from the "hot spots". The owner provided excellent directions to use the "less traveled" roads. I would highly recomend this cabin to anyone who wants to stay near the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Our family had a great time!
The "Circle of Trust"..ie, Tommy, and Tommy, and my wife Wendy and I, all piled into my SUV..Packed as little as possible, and went on a road trip to the Mountains..We had GREAT fellowship!! We all got to feed live bears, which was cool..We all had our own rooms, as well as bathrooms..And, there was a hot tub for long talks..We greatly enjoyed sitting on the wrap arround porch, and watching wild deer graze!! It was a stress free, bonding time..And the cabin was in top shape, and we will go again soon!! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your Cabin!! -Robert (Pres. of "The Circle of Trust")
