This luxurious log home features spectacular views of Quandary Peak (14,265 ft). It is conveniently located just 10 minutes from downtown Breckenridge and Breckenridge Ski Area, 20 minutes from Keystone, 30 minutes from A-Basin and Copper Mountain and less than 1 hour from Vail. In winter, enjoy cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and sledding right from the door. In summer, hiking, biking, fishing and other outdoor activities abound.
The home has a spacious open floor plan with huge windows to show off the breath-taking views. The great room (with heated floor) provides plenty of space for the whole family to gather, prepare and enjoy meals. Downstairs, enjoy a movie next to the warmth of a clean buring gas log stove. A separate bunk house provides private space for kids to sleep and play. Hike, cross-country ski, snowshoe and sled right out the door.
My wife I and left Phoenix to stay in this beautiful mountain home for 4th of July. This house was the perfect location to relax and enjoy the awesome weather and fantastic views of Breckenridge. The house couldn't be better, very well maintained and the perfect location, a few miles out of town and secluded in the trees with great views. I couldn't recommend this enough!
We spent a lovely week here in August. The area is fabulous, with one of Colorado's famed 14,000+ mountains just moments away, plus lots of shorter hikes nearby and a bike trail that goes for miles that runs out of Breckenridge. We overdid it, including a run up the mountain starting out at 7 am. But if you prefer to stay put, or even have to do some work, just set up the computer at the dining room table and take an occasional peek at Quandary Peak as the light changes through the day and clouds move in and out. You won't even mind working. Immaculately clean, well set up floor plan; very well stocked kitchen (unlike those odds and ends silver and weird sized pots you get at some rentals). In short, you will soon feel like this is your home in the mountains. Cannot recommend it more highly.
Excellent no above excellent place to stay--quiet in the trees but close to the great town of Breckenridge!
This was a beautiful spot to spend a ski week in Breckenridge. The house is perfect in every way, and exactly as advertised. It is very well situated with a great mix of a short drive into town for skiing, dining, shopping etc., and a secluded, peaceful spot to relax and enjoy. One of the best features of this house is the beautiful view. You can stare out of the large picture window for hours and never get tired of the ever changing colors of Mount Quandry, and the spectacular Colorado mountain scenery. The mountain seems so close you can almost touch it. The beautifully furnished house has everything we needed for our vacation; large bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, a terrific bunk room for the kids and all of the amenities.
You can't beat for a this area for a ski vacation. We skied Breckenridge every day except for one day when we took a short trip to Keystone. The bowls and the trees are amazing. You will never get tired of skiing in Colorado. There is terrain for every level of ski ability. The historic town of Breckenridge is lively with plenty of dining, and shopping.
Make sure you hit the gym before your trip. Breckenridge is very high altitude and the house is aptly named "Ten Plus" as it is located over 10,000 feet! Great house, great location, great town, and unbelievable powder skiing! Our whole family hopes to come back someday soon, enjoy this wonderful house and stunning view again.
We loved this location. We enjoyed the quiet area with only a few neighbors and Breck was less than a 10 minute drive if we needed something. The home is well furnished and very nicely maintained. There is an extensive library with many genres of books to choose from and enjoy. We enjoyed seeing deer in the yard in the mornings and mountain goats in a 10 minute drive to Blue Lakes. This is a great place to get away from it all and relax.
