Townhome, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-5)

Relax and enjoy the beach lifestyle in beautiful Long Beach. Charming two bedroom cottage-like beach retreat at the beach.

Ocean views of Queen Mary and small islands from large, seldom-used shared deck. Dine while watching the ocean.

Additional private side patio for BBQ, dining and reading. Small delightful garden with flowers and herbs. Partial view of sand and ocean from upstairs bedrooms. Lay in bed and hear the waves.

Queen beds in each of the bedrooms. Bedroom #1, has TV/VCR/DVD. Bedroom #2 has a desk with wireless DSL access. Living room has a queen hide-a-bed sofa, tv, dvd and vcr player, cd player. Several movies in the house.

Short walk to catch the Passport bus, will take you to Queen Mary, the Aquarium, Shoreline Village, Convention Center, Pine Ave., Catalina Island Express ferry, art museums, Belmont Shore dining and shopping, murder mystery or tall ship cruise. The bus goes to other attractions further out if needed. Metro blue line lends access to downtown LA.

35-40 minutes to Disneyland by car. The owners are knowledgeable of the area and would love to share touring ideas about Long Beach and Los Angeles to make your trip more enjoyable. Just ask.

Our stay in Long Beach provided the perfect retreat for our family of five. The condo was meticulous and larger than expected! Whether it was the ocean views off the deck, the smell of the hanging flowers in the corridor or the easy beach access ~ this vacation spot was unforgettable! Laura was amazing and as an added bonus we appreciated the access to Wi-Fi.

I can't begin to tell you how much we love this little place!!
Thanks again, we had a most amazing time over the holidays.
We also rented the Sunshine Beach House a couple years ago, and we talked about how great it was for a few years and wanted to come back. It is a special place for us, as my daughter introduced her new boyfriend to our family at dinner one night while we were staying there, and now they are MARRIED!!!

Great beach getaway

Really enjoyed our visit to the Sunshine Beach House. The property is conveniently located to transportation with a bus stop steps away to go downtown (the Pike, Shoreline Village) or the shopping/restaurants at Belmont Shore. The property is a gated, court-yard building with a common deck at the end overlooking the beach (wonderful and relaxing!) There was plenty of room for our stay with 4 adults (me, 2 aunts & my mother). Other things we loved: reliable wireless internet, kitchen stocked with basics, and did I mention the beach-view deck!? My aunt specifically asked me to mention how impressed she was with how clean the property was. Would recommend this property to others and would rent again when returning to Long Beach. Thank you!

Our stay at Laura's townhome was wonderful! It is everything described and more. The shared deck was a great place to sit and relax with fantastic views. We rarely saw any of the other residents on the deck or at the property. Laura and her husband were there to greet us with flowers and cookies and had also saved us a parking spot on the busy street out front. Parking on the street is a challenge. We utilized their parking garage for the majority of our stay even though we were in a minivan rental that was too wide for us to open the driver's side door once parked inside the garage. My husband easily crawled out the back though! The townhome is conveniently located to shopping and restaurants at Shoreline Village. Inside the townhome was a good directory of shopping/dining and a map of the area that is very helpful. Great people to rent from, we would definitely rent this unit again!

This is the second time our family has stayed at this property and it was just as good the second time around. Laura is great to deal with and adds a personal touch to the stay, nothing is too much trouble. The property is welcoming and well-stocked with everything we needed including some staple foods which is a godsend when travelling. The shared deck space is one of the best features with a fantastic view of the beach for miles either way! The kids love the beach and with it so close you can go any time of the day. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone and hope to return again on our next USA visit.
