Private, Peaceful, Convenient

Our decision to head out of town for the 4th of July Holiday was very last minute. We went to HomeAway to search for areas in the mountains and found this cute little cottage in Flat Rock, NC. We emailed the owner on Friday evening and had a response within minutes of "yes, we would love to have you". The rental process was made very easy and enjoyed working with Barb to finalize the paperwork and rental details. Thank you Barb!

When we arrived at the cottage we found it just as it is pictured on the HomeAway site. The furnishings were comfortable and just perfect for our family. All the comforts of home away from home. Our kids, 15 and 9, enjoyed sleeping up in the loft area and we had our own bedroom downstairs.

There is a small lake and pool located in the development and the staff at the office were very helpful with information on times and use of equipment. The local shops and restaurants are within walking distance and are all family owned specialty type establishments. We ventured into Historic Downtown Hendersonville and took a day trip to Lake Lure.
