|Minimum Stay||5 - 7 nights|
Come enjoy the spectacular views of the Caribbean from our 2,000+ sq. ft. penthouse. It is a 2-story located on the 3rd and 4th floors with accommodations for 4-8 people. The main level has 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, and 2 baths, accommodating 4 people. The top floor will be available if you have more than 4 people. The top floor has a Master suite with a King size mahogany bed and sitting area, and a back bedroom with 2 queen beds. The Master bath has a Jacuzzi tub. All bathrooms have large glass tile showers.
All flooring is European porcelain tile and limestone. The kitchen has modern stainless steel appliances, Cambria quartz countertops, with custom mahogany cabinetry. Three large verandas with oversized sliding glass doors are a great place to view the Caribbean or the pool below.
There is a 300 ft. pier, that is ideal for fishing or snorkeling, or catching the Water Taxi or Island Ferry to take you anywhere on the island, whether it's a deep sea fishing trip, scuba diving, or restaurants. Although, there are awesome restaurants within walking distance. We have a tour guide available at your request. Accessibility to the condo is by golf cart, bicycle, water taxi, or scheduled Island Ferry. Transportation available to and from the San Pedro Airport when arriving and departing.
Great Beachfront condo with great restaurants and fun bars in close proximity. 3 couples and we all had plenty of privacy.
Just got back from our visit. We had a blast! Condo was beautiful. Jerry picked us up at the airport and gave us a nice tour of town. He set us up with 2 golf carts to rent for the week. Was cheaper than the places in town! The condo was just as pictured. The pool was empty except for us most of the time. We used Searious scuba for our snorkling needs. they were the best! Picked us right up at our pier. Aji was our favorite restaurant. Its just just a couple doors down the beach path. Actually though, we never had a bad meal the whole time we were there. The location of the property is right in between multiple restaurants and bars. But far enough away that if feels secluded. No bugs at all! We were surprised by this. Guess the ocean breeze keeps them away. There is no phone. so we made all our plans the previous day so they could pick us up the next day. All in all a great trip. We had 7 in our group and there was plenty of room for all of us. We never felt crowded. Thanks for letting us use your condo!!!
The Condo was great for our group (three adult couples). We never used the 4th bedroom down the hall from the master bedroom. Everything was in good or excellent shape per the pictures. Terrific ocean views, very fair price, well equipped, relaxing location, well kept grounds. No phone (or internet) there so we rented a cell phone at the Goldson airport (BTL office) for $5 US per day + $25 phone card which lasted us the full week for making dinner and diving reservations. Cushions for the pool side lounges are in the storage room but bring your own beach towels.
Josh was willing to arrange excursions but we were too busy diving to need his help (Island Divers and Amigos). He did arrange a taxi to and from the condo which worked out very well. The pier with palapa was handy for pickups by water taxi, or to sit and enjoy the ocean. The road to the condo from town is a bit rough, but we managed it quite a few times in our Carts Belize rented golf cart (cheaper for us than water taxis with 6 adults and multiple trips to town).
Food; Aji, Akbol and Lazy Croc are so near it’s easier to walk to them than drive using the beach walk path.
Aji is higher priced, but the atmosphere is fantastic, as is the food. Akbol is cheaper but still on the beach and has very good food. Celebrity was great for breakfast. Lazy Croc was only open for lunch, but they’re expanding to dinner soon. Great lunch menu. Palapa Bar is far enough for us to want to drive to, but well worth it. Good bar food, drinks, great atmosphere and you can’t beat floating in an inner tube and having buckets of beer delivered to you. The Village Market just north of the toll bridge heading out of San Pedro has a variety of food with many US brands. (Note that you’re going to pay much, more for any US brand item.)
We all loved our time in Belize and staying at the OceanAire condo. If you want a GREAT ocean side condo, not in town but a short ride away at a reasonable price, this is the place. Highly, highly recommended!
Our time in Ambergris Caye at your place was wonderful.
We loved your set up and enjoyed like crazy; diving and pick up in front of the condo, fishing with "Fish "Johnson, drinks at the Palapa Bar, Diving the Blue whole,Half Moon Caye and the Aquarium, cave tubing and visiting Xunantunich ( maybe got the spelling wrong here)...and more ...you see we had a good time even one night the girls came back and they found a huge crocodile in the front of Josh house...it was one more story to had to the wonderful trip.
Thank you for renting your place to us.
In all the islands we went in the past year on diving trips ( Utila, Roatan, Bonaire) Ambergris and your set up was the best...everybody wants to go back
Back in Montreal...in the rain.
We just got back from a week vacation at the Oceanaire in Belize. It was the most relaxing vacation that I have ever been on. The condo unit is on the top floor so it has great views. There is plenty of space for several people and large families. The place was so clean, smelled great and had everything furnished. The grounds are kept up well and allows you to relax and enjoy the place. There as a swimming pool, lounge chairs waiting, private beach with sun or shade under the palms, a long dock with a palapa to enjoy watching boats go by. The breeze was so amazing.
I would recommend renting a golf cart if you are going to be there for several days. Chances are you will want to run into town for lunches, dinner, shopping, or adventures. It just allows you more freedom. There are several bars and restaurants within walking distance either way from the condo also.
Josh, Jasmine and the rest of the gang are all wonderful and speak English. Josh is a wealth of information on excursions and local tips. We went snorkeling (amazing), fishing (wonderful) and cave tubing/ zip lining (awesome!) The only difficult thing is to decide whether you want to lay around all day or venture out. Tough life.
The condo unit is about a 10-15 minute cart ride north of town which is perfect. Gave us a peaceful surrounding and quick to get in to people watch.
Great place. Great people. Don't think twice! Go!!
We found the condo to look just as we expected from the pictures, with the beach being nicer than expected. It is clean with comfy beds and a beautiful kitchen. Loved the balconies and enjoyed the pool!
Josh is helpful and will arrange activities. Plan ahead in case he is giving a guided tour with other guests and is out of pocket for a few hours. When we arrived in San Pedro, Josh met us at the condo, but pick up in town is available as well.
The upstairs is interesting in that you have to walk through the semi-private master bedroom, to get to a hallway, that then takes you to the private back bedroom. I would recommend this condo for families that are happy to share space and sleeping schedules or couples with modest PJs. :)
As you’ll read elsewhere, sand fleas are found on Belize beaches, in general, (depending on weather)- bring spray, benadryl, and lime juice (itch cream doesn’t work)! You may get bit if you go on long walks.
Have the owner give you info about adding minutes to the phone. This has to be done in town (I recommend doing this prior to arriving at the condo). Having the phone for local calls is helpful for making reservations.
Use this description of the condo if any taxis/tour guides are unsure of your location:
Located 2 miles north of San Pedro, just north of Grand Caribe, one resort south of White Sands. We have a 300 ft. pier w/ a big palapa on the end. There are 2 big buildings, that are kind of a yellow and peachy color, with a pool out front. No sign that says OceanAire. Next door to Aji.
Bring beach towels- there were a few at the house but you may want more?? Condo not suited for those that struggle with stairs.
-Aji- next door, peaceful ambiance, casual/fun service
-Akbol- really yummy food and smoothies
-Grand Caribe Pool Bar- again, great food. closest free WiFi (pswd: ilovegrancaribe). Weak cocktails
-Palapas Bar- happy hour from 1-4pm each day. Free WiFi pswd: scottandjodie.
-Kama- bar on the beach. fun staff!
-Tackle Box- a dive in town, best drinks we had the whole time. (margarita and michillada)
-Fidos- night out, live music, great food
-Victoria House- we took a water taxi (about $50 US, one way) and it only took about 10 minutes (vs. about an hour drive). It was the best meal we had and the most 'posh' service you'll find on the island.
-Unity Tour- contact Stephen for a Catamaran snorkeling tour! music, drinks, ceviche
-White Sands Dive- great guides
The villa is located 2 miles north of San Pedro. If you enjoy snorkeling, scuba diving, deep sea fishing or just relaxing , then our villa is the perfect place for your dream vacation. Most of your activites, interests, and restaurants are within a short walking distance of our Oceanfront penthouse.
