Seaside villa with pool & gardens. 25 mins from airport, Free WiFi

My family of 4, (2 children aged 15 and 10) enjoyed a lovely week at the villa.
Richard was there to greet us and show us round, with lots of information on where to visit in the area, and recommended local restuarants etc. The welcome basket was wonderful, very plentiful, and as the shops were closed for siesta, even more welcome!
The villa is very well equipped, plenty of everything and the pool and gardens are as lovely as they look in the pictures.

It is an ideal base to explore this area of Italy, Lecce, Otranto and the coastline around Gallipoli were great days out. I would strongly recommend a car to get the most out of your holiday.
The roads were quiet and the lovely countryside makes the driving a pleasure.
We went low season, so seemed to have the area and beaches to ourselves, which made it more special!

We had a lovely stay in April. The accommodation was very good and there were lots of towels and an excellent welcome basket to start us off. Richard and Noirin gave us so much help, arranging internet access and a babysitter. Their guide book was full of information and we felt we only saw a small fraction of the lovely towns in our two weeks. The children loved the pool and picking lemons straight from the tree. All in all a really good self catering set up. We would highly recommend.

Our family made a decision for to spend our winter holiday in southern Italy and not as usual in Spain or Portugal. The second decision was also to rent a villa for the first time. We made a review of more than 50 different options in Italia looking for a suitable villa to rent before we found "the one" we were looking for. Our main criteria was to find a nice villa with a private pool and enough of room for 4 adults and 2 childen. And of course not to forget talking about us Finns coming from the cold- sun and a temperature > 20 C daytime is a "must". And that also came through - we had beautiful weather every day. The villa was beautiful and had everything that we needed. One other thing was the closness to interesting old cities like Lecce, Ostranto, Ostuni etc. But we didn`t understand in beforehand how much we appriciated these visits with the help of the recommendations of the owners. Interesting also for the kids with all these stories about gladiators, warriors, old historical towns that we visited and so on. Thanks a lot to Richard and Noirin for their help specially at the early stage. Please read carefully all their advices and we also recommend to rent a car if you want to see more than only Lendinuso! Nothing is happening in that time of the year (last week of April) and the town is almost dead. But that was fine for us - the villa were our base camp and the car our tool to get out and see other interesting places. The last evening with the kids on top of the roof taking goodby of Lendinuso, the moon above it, the lemon trees (+ many more items) will stay for a very long time in the memories of us adults.
So we got a holiday to remember without making any special plans for each day. We had a lot of options around the villa and to a few days not moving to far away from the pool isn`t a bad choice at all!
