About Nora - Manager
While born and raised in New York City, I met my wife, a native of Ballyconnell, Co. Wicklow, in Boston. After we married the regular trips 'home' meant we needed to find a place of our own . The short version of the story is that we discovered west Cork while visiting friends and fell in love with the coastline and rolling hills. We bought a site with planning permission in 1998 and by 2001 our home away from home was finished. We visit regularly and after we stop working (who knows when that will happen) we plan to spend equal time in Ireland and the States.
Nora - Manager purchased this studio in 2002
Why Nora - Manager chose Rosscarbery
The location on the hill affords a very scenic view of green, checkerboard pastures and great exposure to the sun (when it makes its' welcomed appearances). Our old, dear friends live very nearby.
What makes this studio unique
The location is quiet, serene, restful, bucolic, and very near great Irish culture and culinary delights.
