This 3 bedroom, 2 bath house sits on 2 acres of well manicured lawn over looking the majestic Rogue River. Enjoy over 200 ft. of private river front for a picnic, fishing for salmon, steelhead and trout or just kickin' back and reading a good book. Spend the day rafting to or from the backyard or book a guided trip. Then in the evening relax around a open fire while you roast a marshmallow or hot dog and listen the the night sounds of nature and gaze up at the stars.

During the colder months you can go snow skiing on Mt. Ashland (50 miles) or head north to Diamond Lake (60 miles) for cross country skiing, tubing and ATV or snowmobile riding.

This vacation retreat gives you a wonderful country feeling with dining and shopping convenience at your finger tips.

2012 Ladies escape

This was our high school friends annual "ladies weekend getaway". Everything here was excellent. The house was very comfortable for 8 ladies. Very well equipped and roomy for all. Plenty of dinning areas with a dinning table, eating area in kitchen; sun room eating or on the deck. The back lawn area was lovely - with all the flowers and fruit trees and a nice walk down to the river. The acreage was large enough that it was very private, so our late night laughter could not disturb any neighbors. We did not do a river raft trip - but hopefully next time. I would highly recoment it to others vacationing in this area. This was so much fun - we thank the owner for the wonderful weekend and use of this lovely home.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Lovely place to stay

We stayed up here for a week and it was wonderful. The house has everything you need and is spacious and comfortable. The kids played on the swing, fed apples to the deer in the yard and thoroughly enjoyed the charming town of Shady Cove. Highly recommend it!!
