Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 10)

This beautiful two bedroom direct oceanfront condo with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean up and down the beach, has just been completely renovated from the sheet rock out, including all furnishings and artwork. The master bedroom has a king size bed with all new accessories. A 26 inch flat screen tv is provided for your enjoyment in the bedroom. The comfortable living room overlooks the Ocean with a large private balcony for your enjoyment. There is a murphy bed [that sleeps two persons] along with a convertible queen sofa sleeper. We have a wall mounted 32 inch flat screen TV with built in dvd player to be enjoyed on rainy days which can't be spent on the beach. A full kitchen awaits your culinary skills just in case you want a break from the many fine restaurants located nearby, several are within walking distance. We have a over the counter microwave and a dishwasher to save you work on the dishes. For your convenience there is a full washer and dryer in the condo.

The guest bedroom is equipped with two full size beds with a mirrored dresser and a clothes closet. A full private bath is located in the unit also. A counter top with a coffee maker and a toaster is available for a quick breakfast. The guest bedroom also has a mini refrigerator and a microwave. The condo has over 1100 s.f. of space and very roomy and comfortable.

The resort has a well equipped exercise room with several machines and treadmills. We have a very large heated inside pool for use, anytime during the year. The outdoor pool encompasses a lot of the back part of the property and goes around to the side of the building, as well. The resort has a huge hot tub for about 60 persons. There is a smaller hot tub located alongside the indoor pool. Several areas of the resort are set aside for sunbathing with numerous lounge chairs for your use. There are two walkways to the beach and are equipped with showers for use upon returning from the beach. Ample parking is provided directly in front of the building along with a lower parking garage [out of the weather]. Wi-Fi is provided for your internet service during your stay in the condo and throughout the resort. The security at the resort is excellent and non-intrusive relative to the guests. There is ample parking with two lots directly in front of the condo, one covered and the other is open. All paring is first come first served basis.The Ocean Park Resort is located a few minutes from the Myrtle Beach Internation Airport. More than a hundred golf courses are within a short drive from Ocean Park. Outlet stores and shopping centers abound. A few are two Tanger Outlets-Coastal Grand Mall-Barefoot Landing-Broadway at the Beach. Dixie Stampede, Hard Rock Cafe, Alabama Theatre are a few of the attractions available nearby. Market commons with several restaurants, shops and a park is within a four or five minute drive. The largest ferris wheel on the east coast will open this summer [2011]. It will be two hundred feet high with gondolas equipped with conditioned air for any weather use. It is located near Ripley's Museum and the boardwalk. Wonder Works will open in 2011, located at Broadway at the Beach.

My wife and I have two vrbo properties in the Great Smoky Mountains and have been wanting an ocean condo for years. The opportunity for purchasing in Myrtle Beach came open and we could not pass it up. I have been invloved in residential real estate renovations for more that thirty years and it always gets my blood pumping to get involved in a new project.

We thought about several beach locations on the Gulf of Mexico and other locations on the Atlantic and decided for the amenities that Myrtle Beach has to offer this was by far the best choice for a great vacation condo.

What makes this condo unique

We love Ocean Park because of its close proximity to almost everthing Myrtle Beach has to offer. We especially enjoy the south beach area because you are much closer to the water and the new mile long boardwalk. The resort offers much larger condos than the typical Myrtle Beach condo. Ocean Park offers parking on the same side of the street that the building is on rather than having the parking lot across the street as most of the condos in the beach area offer.

We are located two miles from Myrtle Beach International Airport. Shopping centers-outlet malls are plentiful in the immediate area and surrounding areas. Theaters with live actors, musical stage shows are very important component of the fun things to do in Myrtle Beach, including the Carolina Opry, Wonder Works, and the new Skywheel with heated and cooled gondolas Myrtle Beach has a single A professional baseball team that plays about two miles from the condo. Deep sea fishing is available very near to Ocean Park. The area of Myrtle Beach is known as the golf capital of the world. The TPC course in Myrtle Beach is only about six miles form Ocean Park, as well as several well known courses.

Wedding weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Jack's condo in Myrtle Beach. It suited all of our needs, the building and the grounds we lovely, and the building maintenance person was prompt, pleasant and courteous. He was able to fix the leak in the kitchen sink, correct the fan in the smaller unit and just disabled the one in the main unit with a promise that he would be back after we left to replace it. We would definitely seek to rent this unit on our next trip to Myrtle Beach! Thank you!

Beautiful resort

We rented this condo for one week and absolutely loved it. The views are breath taking. The condo is lovely and offers plenty of room. The staff at the resort are friendly and the grounds are beautifully kept. The children loved the 2 swimming pools and hot tubs. For my next vacay, I will look for this condo to rent again.

overall pleased with a few minor complaints

My husband and I stayed here for a week in last Easter, sorry for the very late review. Overall we were pleased with the unit. The washing machine was broken while we were there, I contacted the owner and he got a repair person to repair it within a day. The location is excellent, on a very beautiful beach, away from the very busy section but within easy driving distance to attractions and restaurants. I found the bed to not be comfortable, was hard. Also parking lot was full alot of the times, but we were told by Ocean Park to park across the street, which we found easier, not as tight parking. Ocean Park allows pets, so if you are not a dog lover do not go to this resort! There were rules not to bring the dogs into the pool area but people did it anyways. But overall a good condo rental for the money.

Owner's Response: We replaced king mattress and box springs as well as both regular bed mattresses and box springs on 2/7/2012. We do not accept pets in our condo. Any pet violation should be reported to the management staff.

Wonderful place to stay!

We stayed here during bike week and shared the condo with another couple (plus a few extras). There was plenty of room, the view is amazing, rooms were clean, easy to get to and find your way around. We will definately stay here again.

Best place ever!

We went down for bike week and stayed at this condo and it was amazing! The view was beautiful,the condo was breathe taking. Very clean great facility. If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay then look no further than here. We could not have found a better place and we will vacation in this condo from now on!
