Summer is great in historic Lunenburg and the fall is fantastic. The sun rises in the front and sets in the back over water! The view is breathtaking from every room in the house or from the balconies. The home is tastefully decorated, warm, cozy and rich from coordinated comforters and sheets to the color on the walls and is fully furnished for housekeeping. A fully equipped kitchen includes dishwasher, microwave, ice maker, all utensils, several sets of dishes, etc. This 4/2 approx. 2000 sq. ft. has three queen beds and a double bed in the antique bedroom along with a family room, living room, dining room and utility room with washer and dryer. Both bathrooms have been completely renovated for your pleasure. Some of the amenities include cable, wide screen TV, WIFI, and a high powered telescope to follow vessels leaving the harbor or view a star studded night sky. When viewing the Google map the house is actually located between Masons Pond and the Atlantic Ocean...
The Bluenose Golf Course separates the home from the town only a kilometer away. Historic Lunenburg is one of the most picturesque towns in all of Canada and is viewed every visit into town. The well known 'Bluenose' sailing vessel and the 'Bounty' were built in this quaint village. It still remains the home of the Dory ( the wood slatted fishing boat as seen in the picture of The Old Man and the Sea.) Take the walking tour or the horse and buggy ride. Just over the hill from the house you can buy fresh lobster at the dock just out of the sea. There is none like it. Enjoy an unforgettable vacation. You won't be disappointed. Also you may visit my website at ***theparadisehouse.com*** ... Thank you
Just a note, the house is located directly in front of Mason's Pond. The Google map is incorrect. If you hit the satellite map and zoom out, you can see the creek coming from the beach and winding along side the house emptying into the pond.
Historic Lunenburg is a fishing village on UNESCO'S World Heritage Site. Enjoy the local flavor, restaurants, shopping, whale watching, sailing, fishing, hiking, and walk to the Bluenose Golf Course. See THE OVENS (water caves carved in the side of a cliff), Peggy's Cove, the lighthouse route, Fishery Museum, Mariner's Museum (includes Titanic) and the historic fort in Halifax. PLEASE NOTE: The google map is slightly incorrect. The Paradise House is located directly in front of Masons Pond.
